I am standing some distance away from the stage where the Nikaah is taking place. I get call from Ruchi who says all was okay in the ladies section. I smile in relieve.

I received a message from Riad "My room after marriage, we need to talk"

I typed a yes instantly. I look around, Riad is standing on the stage. As I took at him, he looks at me and I nod, he nods back.

My heart beat accelerates with expectations. I hope all our misunderstanding gets cleared. I glanced at my wrist, fingers crossed.

The wedding was over quickly. I and Ruchi rushed to the honeymoon suite, here is where the couple will be spending their first night. And before that I and Ruchi as wedding planners have to ensure that the room is ready for the couple.

'Some people will be spending first night here and some people in room 610' Ruchi teases

'Stop it' I say blushing 'Nothing like that will happen, we are going to just talk'

'Shut up, Aleesa. These words of yours is jinxed, every time you say this nothing happens' she says. I shake my head and get back to checking the room.

Everything was perfect, the room is dimly lit and decorated with perfumed candles and rose petals. The bed is also decorated with rose petals and white and red roses hanging from the ceiling fan and spread over the bed. Ruchi calls me, 'The bride is here'

I walked towards the door, and see Liqa coming up stairs with her head lowered. Her mother at front and Urooj and Hanan on either side of her. I see her blush profusely, and from her look one can say she is nervous. I and Ruchi come out, the girls giggled as they led Liqa inside the room. I see a waiter come carrying a tray with two Paan and a glass of milk. I wondered what is need of Paan. Once the waiter leaves. Hanan smirks 'Here have this' she says forwarding one Paan to Liqa she looks equally confused. Many married ladies including Urooj giggled

'Buddhu...this is Palang thod Paan' Hanan says and winks making Liqa turn brick red. For some reason, I blushed too.

The name of the Paan clarified the purpose. I am just praying everything wraps up fast so I can go to Riad, I want to talk one on one with Riad and hopefully patch up. With the mere thought of it I feel elated.

Five minutes later, I nudged Ruchi's arms and whispered to her 'Let's leave'. Ruchi agrees, we decided to leave and give Liqa and her families some privacy. Ruchi gets a call from Rishabh that he is waiting downstairs, I smirk at her but she adds 'I am too tried tonight' I suppress my giggle.

'All the best' Ruchi winks at me as I step out from the elevator to the 6th floor. I wink back. My heart is hammering loudly as I walk towards the corridor leading towards his room. I adjusted my hair and slide the Pallu little more exposing little of cleavage along with half my blouse. Back in the elevator I had done my touch up and Ruchi had adjusted my saree from below, I also had applied some amount of perfume. I should look presentable lest Riad drops the idea of patching up.

I take a deep breath and knocked at the door. Minutes later, the door opens and Riad stands before me. He has changed into his casuals for the night, night PJs. His hair is slightly ruffled but his mouth is fresh, looks like he has just used mouth wash. I wished I did to, have to be prepared. I smile nervously at him; he nods his head and steps aside letting me in. I entered.

Five minutes later, I and Riad are sitting side by side at the edge of the bed. I am feeling hell nervous, much like a newly-wed bride. There is silence between us, I am liking this silence. There is something comforting in this silence. Few minutes, passed. I felt Riad held my hand and I look at him, I see his eyes moist.
