Chapter Five~
“… Seriously, I remember you being full grown, taking care of Al and me at times!” Annabelle shouts in defense as they all sit in an awkward silence. She looks confused, staring at Arthur, then glancing between them all, “How old are all of you?!”
“Technically… I’m 23,” Arthur replies. (Sorry if I’m wrong! The ages are what I remember >-< And what my sis remembers XD But! If you know I’m wrong, and you know the right age, please just pretend I wrote that down ^^)
Annabelle blinks, staring at him, her arms crossed.
“I’m 19,” Alfred says with a confident grin.
“As am I,” Mathew says in a soft voice, still very grateful that his brother notices him for the moment, knowing that would go away as soon as they stepped into the school.
Annabelle blinks once again, her eyes filled with confusion, “O-oh.” She rubs the back of her neck and sighs, “I’m seventeen, almost eighteen.” She looks to them and blinks, utterly confused on her own thoughts.
Arthur smiles softly and pats her head, standing up, “We should get you that haircut or you’ll never pass as a boy.”
Alfred keeps his grin and snickers his natural snicker, standing as well, “Yeah! Let’s go!” The other two stand, Mathew and Annabelle leaving their pets at the home.
~TIME SKIIIIP~! ~
“Alright how would you like it cut sweetie?” The hairdresser asks with a sassy pose, chewing gum, slightly smacking as Annabelle sits in the chair of the salon.
The three boys wait in the waiting room off to the side, Arthur reading, as well as Mathew, and Alfred playing his PSP.
She glances to them and sighs, “Like a boys.” She says simply, making the hairdresser blink.
“Are you sure dear?” Annabelle nods gently, closing her eyes gently and sighing, “Yes.”
The woman nods a bit and sighs, “Well if you say so.” She starts to wet down her long, silver hair, preparing to cut the strands.
~ YET ANOTHER TIME SKIP~! ~
“Alright, sweetie, there ya’ go.” The hairdresser says, flipping the cover that Annabelle wore over her clothes to protect from the cutting of the hair.
Annabelle looks into the mirror and her eyes widen, looking over the new cut.
It was about shoulder-length, looking like a boys would, strangely.
If it weren’t for her girly features, she would look exactly like a boy. She stands out of the chair, thanking the woman with a smile.
For sitting in that chair for so long, her legs went numb as she walks over to the boys. They all look up from their items and their eyes widen slightly.
She giggles slightly, smiling shyly while blush starts to dust over her cheeks, “Do I look like a boy? Well… Other than the clothes?”
Arthur smiles and nods, standing up with the others, “Yes, it looks great, love.” She blushes more and smiles more. Alfred and Mathew stand up, smiling; “Now we just have to enroll you!” Alfred says excitedly.
Arthur walks up to the cashier and pays for the haircut, getting complains from Annabelle, “A-Artie! I should pay! You guys have done too much already,” She pouts, crossing her arms over her chest like a child.
Arthur chuckles slightly, smirking to her slightly, “I’ve already paid for it, and you can’t do much now.”
Alfred snickers slightly and pats Annabelle’s head, leaning on it slightly with his arm.
