~ And So She Dreamed ~ Part Twelve!

The rest of the week for Annabelle went pretty well. Nobody else figured out she was really a girl, or for what she knew. For gym, she had to write papers on ‘Why Physical Ed Is Important’ every time everyone went outside.

But today was Saturday, so she didn’t have to stress about it. Everyone had gone off and done their own things by now.

“Annabelle,” He says softly, gently shaking her side to wake her up. She groans and turns over, her back facing him. He lets out a sigh and looks to Jackie who was by the door, whimpering. Arthur lets out another sigh and walks to the door and opens it.

He walks over and knocks on Alfred’s door gently, Jackie following him. Alfred opens the door and blinks, “Hey dude, need somethin?” He asks, tilting his head. Arthur nods his head slightly, “Could you take Jackie outside for a little while, Annabelle won’t wake up.”

Alfred pulls on a grin and snickers, “Sure thing, brosef!” He looks to Jackie and starts to run, being chased by her. Arthur chuckles slightly and walks back to his room. He walks in and see’s Annabelle, groggily sitting up.

She rubs her eyes with her sleeve, groaning. Arthur smiles and closes the door, “Well good morning.”

He walks over to his bed and sits down as she gets up. She lets out a sigh and rubs her head, “M-morning,” She replies after a bit and walks to the bathroom. She looks around and blinks, “H-hey Arthur? Where’s Jackie?”

She peaks her head out of the bathroom. Arthur looks to her and smiles, “Alfred took her outside so you could rest.” Annabelle smiles slightly and nods.

She shuts the door and starts to get ready. Arthur lies back and starts to read a book.

Not long after, Annabelle walks out, brushing her teeth and a towel over her wet hair. Mattie and Alfred were sitting on the floor, playing with Jackie. Annabelle blinks then smiles before turning back to finish brushing her teeth.

“Hey, we should totally show Annabelle around!” Alfred says excitedly. Arthur looks to him then smiles slightly, “That sounds like fun.”

Annabelle walks out, wiping her face with the towel. She ruffles her own hair as dry as she can with the towel and sets it on her bed, getting a brush out, “Show me around where?”

“The neighborhood. There are a lot of fun stores around here.” Mattie explains with a smile, rubbing Jackie’s stomach. Annabelle smiles softly, watching him, “That sounds like a lot of fun,” She says, her smiles growing into a happy grin. Arthur sits up and smiles, “Well is everyone ready?”

Annabelle reaches into a bag and pulls out a beanie and fixes it on her head, looking into the mirror. She wore some black skinny jeans and a cute long-sleeve shirt. She pulls on a jacket and her coat. The boys grab their coats and they head out, Jackie tagging along.

The four walk down the street, looking around. “There’s a supermarket and such over there,” Arthur informs Annabelle, pointing in that direction. Annabelle smiles and nods, “This is a really nice place,” She says, holding onto Jackies leash tightly. Luckily, today wasn’t as cold. The snow around was melting from the sun.

Alfred looks around and sticks out his tongue slightly, winking one eye for a second, “We should go somewhere fun.” Annabelle looks to him and tilts her head, “Where should we go then?” She asks curiously.

Mattie smiles and speaks up, “There’s a little café I like to go to around the corner. If you like, we could go there,” He suggests. Annabelle smiles to him and nods, “That sounds like fun.”
