1.20 Leaving The Farm

Dad sighed"Ken-"

Me "You knew?"

He looked down.

I asked confused and hurt "Why didn't you tell us? tell me?"

Dad put an arm around my shoulders and hugged me "i wanted to, believe me"

I shoved him off me "Let's Just go back"

we began to walk back to the farm.

I put a hand on Carl's shoulder but he jerked away "C-"

Carl "you killed Shane"

I shook my head "That wasn't Shane anymore"

Dad "She's right"

Carl asked confused "What happened? where you guys attacked? i mean, i heard a gunshot but i didn't see any walkers near you. How did Shane die?."

Suddenly i heard moaning and groaning.

I turned around "Carl, we got other problems"

They heard it too.

Dad whispered hissing "go,go,go,go,go"

We hid behind a tree.

Dad to me and Carl "Run to the others and warn them"

Carl "We will never make it through them"

Me "i'm faster than Carl"

Dad shook his head "no,no,no,no,no you two go together"

Me "The barn is closer"

Dad nodded and grabbed Carl's hand.

I took my knives out out. We rushed to the barn.

We made it inside and Dad locked the door.

walkers were pushing themselves against the door.

Me "That won't hold long"

Dad took a benzine can and poured it all over the floor.

He hissed"up, hurry"

Carl "What about you?"

Dad "i'm right there. "

He gave me a lighter "Drop it when i say"

I shook my head "Da-"

Dad "Kendall, it will stop some of them from reaching the house and warn the others"

I nodded "all right"

He looked at Carl "you can do this."

Then he put a hand on Carl's and my shoulder.
I shook my head, i had tears in my eyes.

Dad "Keni, Carl, i love you"

I let a tear fall "Daddy-"

Dad hissed "now go go go"

I let Carl go first up the ladder. I followed close after him.

Dad let them inside as we were upstairs "Come on! come on! Wanna eat me!? Come and get me!"

Then he climbed up the letter and yelled yelled "Ken, now!"

I turned it on and threw it into the walker crowd. They went up in flames. seems like they didn't give a damn about that.

We were still upstairs walking to the eaves.

We saw the RV.

Dad yelled to them "Here!! We are here!! Put it right there!"

The RV parked in front of us. Dad, Carl and i jumped on the roof of it. Dad and Carl then climbed down. And ran. I don't know how but i tripped and fell off the roof to the ground, knocking all the air out of my lungs.
