Chapter 25

Five months later...

Rose's P.O.V.

After all this time and Bella still looks extremely beautiful to me. She is due any day now and basically on bed rest because she's twice her normal size. Her attitude is definitely what everyone says a pregnant lady should be like. Just the other night she snapped at me for touching her hair and then cried and said that she's sorry. She's all over the place but I still love her.

I have always wanted to have a child but with me being a vampire it's not possible. That's one of the reasons why I hated being a vampire so much. I didn't have the best upbringing into the vampire world and I hate to admit it but I hated Carlisle for the longest time for saving me that dreadful night. I often wished that he didn't smell my blood and would have left me there to die but now I'm nothing but grateful that he did.

Now I have a beautiful wife and soon to be child. My family loves me for everything that I have accomplished with my life. My people that helped my family and I in the war believe in me and I believe in them also.

"Rose come here and cuddle with me I'm tired." I here Bella say.

I walk over to her and lay down besides her and wrap my arms around her. She instantly cuddles further into me and all of a sudden I feel something wet.

"Uh oh, Rose my water just broke. I'm so sorry that it got on you." She half whispers half yells.

"Okay it's okay I'm going to pick you up and I'm taking you to Carlisle." I say with a smile. I'm smiling only to try and hide my panick.

I pick her up bridal style and rush to Carlisle's and Esme's room. I knock once and then barge into the room to see Carlisle about to open the door.

"Carlisle her water just broke." I say and set her down gently on the couch. "What do I do Carlisle?" I ask.

He rushes out of the room and hands things to Esme. Esme takes the items and starts setting everything up and getting Bella ready for the birth of our child.

I can't wait to see our baby.

Bella's P.O.V.

Oh my gosh this hurts. It's almost as bad as when Renee beat me half to death. It was so embarrassing to have my water break on her that I didn't even notice the pain. I only noticed the pain when she picked me up and ran me to Carlisle and Esme's room.

"Hurry up and get the baby out of me, it's killing me." I scream.

I feel bad that i yelled at my family but the pain is so bad. It's almost unbearable and makes me want to throw up.

"Okay Bella you need to hold Rose's hand and when I say three you need to push." Carlisle tells me.

I grab Rose's hand and squeeze the living daylights out of it. If she were human I would have broke her hand and then some. I continue to squeeze it until I hear her hand crack.

"Gosh get it out of me NOW!!! I can't trake it anymore. Rose we are never having a kid again unless it's in you and not me." I yell at them.

"Okay Bella one...two...three." He says.

I push with everything that I have in me and I don't stop until I have to breath again.

"Okay that was good Bella lets do it again." He says.

I grab a hold of Rose's hand and scream. I continually scream until I have to breathe again.

"Okay Bella one more big push and we'll see that baby." He says.

I push and push and push and finally here a scream. I keep pushing and hear another scream and finally relax.

"Well it looks like you have a boy and a girl. I can't believe you had two of them in there, no wonder why you were so big." Carlisle says with a proud smile on his face.

I look over to Esme and she has a huge smile on her face and she couldn't have been happier. I look over to Rose and she's beaming with joy. She leans down and kisses me and smiles once she leans up.

"I'm so proud of you Bella. I'm so happy that you had twins and that I can be a mother." She says and heads over to the two babies.

As soon as she grabs them the rest of the family burst through the door and looks right at the twins in Rose's arms.

"Oh my gosh, you had twins. I knew something was going on but I couldn't really see what it was. They are so cute." Alice says as she rushes to the twins in Rose's arms.

I just lay there and watch them and start to get sleepy. I look at everyone and see that Carlisle's taking the pain medicine away from me and the IV. I look back at the twins and look to see Rose looking at me with a smile spread across his face.

"What should we name them?" She asks me.

"How about Matthew Wayne for the boy and Bailey Raine for the girl." I say to her.

"I love it." She says and kisses me.

Everyone nods their agreement and gives me a kiss to the forehead and walks out of the room except for Carlisle and Esme.

"I am so proud of you two and I'm so happy to be a grandma." Esme says and hugs us.

I just had two of the best things in the world. I'm going to be a parent and to my own children. Rose is the best person in the world.

I will protect my children over everything in the world.
