“There’s an eggshell in my pancake!” Michael complained, spitting out his pancake .

“Well there’s a pink hair in mine,” I picked the hair out of my orange juice, thinking to myself close enough. We had started eating the god forsaken pancakes all except for Luke. I get upset when he’s not here, but he looks distant when he is, and that makes me more upset. How am I supposed to be there for him if I can’t talk about him? You’re over thinking…just eat your damn pancake.

Luke trekked, smoothing his quiff, tilting his head towards the door to their room.

“We should post another video, comments are going apeshit,” Luke smiled. The boys all nodded, beaming as they cleaned their leftovers heaftly. The muscles on my lip twitched, but I covered it up with a sip from my drink.

“Wanna come listen?” Ashton asked me. I grinned wickedly and picked up my plate, watching them as they walked into their room. I literally leaped through the hallway and through the door. I was dying to hear Luke sing.

The drum box awkwardly stood in the middle of the room, with the guitars stacked like they used to be in my room on top of their dresser instead. Calum was on his laptop, with Ashton drumming the walls with his sticks, the other boys leaning over Calum’s shoulders. Calum smirked at the screen, then turned me . He pushed me down to sit on one of the beds. While they were setting up, I couldn’t help but see how happy they were; Ashton and Michael were there cheeky selves while the usual Calum and Luke grumps, looked flying high. It was nice to see, and even though I had only been here for a day and a half, I could tell, this didn’t happen often.

He plopped the Mac book onto my lap, and pressed the clicker.

“Hi! We’re five seconds of summer!” The boys cheered in unison, Ash sitting on the crate thing, the boys sitting on the bed across from me with their guitars.

“We’re going to sing a cover of Voodoo doll by Fergie,” Luke took a breath, “Enjoy.”

The first time you guys sang, I felt my heart turn inside and out. Your voice shook my soul, if you know what I mean. Every syllable, every note, added to the beautiful melody that flowed into my ears. I probably looked like a smiling idiot, holding that laptop. I still remember every word, the way you sang those lyrics made me… happy. I had never been genuinely happy, there were times where I wasn’t crying or screaming, but I wouldn’t describe them as happy times. They were more like, breaks. Like my life was taking a breathe, but then had to run again; on a long, winding road with no finish line. I felt like it would never end. Hearing you sing, made me feel like you understood me, like there was hope. There was a finnish line. I was sprinting.

(if u can't already tell, i need an editor ASAP, IM if ur up for it or whatever :0 so like enjoying it or what im already past 10 yay comitment lol
