I knew Acacia was trouble when we first met her at iHop. It wasn’t because she was a bitch, well it kind of was, but it was really how she looked at you. I kept telling myself I didn’t like you but when I saw all the attention she got, though negative, it sparked this fire in me. All it did was burn as she begun to unfold.
“Whatever, lets leave.” Luke groaned, standing up as much as he could since he was squished between the table and the booth. The boys agreed, and me and the waitress both pouted. I really wanted to try some breakfast food.
She stuck her boobs out, and smiled, “But you guys just came!”
Ignoring her, Calum laughed, “Michael! We can make those pancakes, oh my god!” They all started laughing and I joined in because Ashton’s laugh was so loud and just weird, it felt right to. But, Luke wasn’t laughing, he was whispering to the waitress. I could only make out, Stop being a bitch. –L, look how tiny she is. She could be twelve-her. Anger signed me as I watched them argue, her chest springing out of her shirt. It was obvious she wanted Luke’s attention, but I didn’t see why she had to say that about me, was I really that small?
Luke grabbed Calum’s shoulders like Calum held mine the day before, and we all headed out. Ashton and Michael continued reminiscing about the pancakes and Calum and Luke whispered. Luke is always whispering. Luke looked pissed, and Calum looked like he was going to cry. I was sure Anger was printed on my forehead.
“What’s going on?” I said when I caught up to them. They both gave me an agitated look, so I backed off, shuffling backwards to Michael and Ashton.
We reached the car, but Luke took the front seat first. I was slightly offended but I remembered that Calum and Luke were having a cranky boy moment, so I squished between Michael and Ashton in the back.
“She is such a bitch,” The laughing stopped as soon as Luke spoke. Of course she is. But she’s pretty and you are too. I’m not.
“Mate I-“
“No. She never apologies, she doesn’t get it,” Luke explained.
“Just stop!” Calum roared, focusing on the road ahead of him. Ashton coughed awkwardly and Michael shifted slightly Despite the tension in the air, I took suffrage in the scenery. The fact that I was actually staying there for the rest of my life wouldn’t sink in. It will always feel just like a vacation.
As soon we came home, Michael, Ashton, and I bloated out of the car like it was on fire. I was hungry and they just wanted to get out of Luke and Calum’s secret war.
“Can you start the pancakes? I want to check on them,” Michael asked me, but I shook my head.
“I don’t know how,” I replied, “What's up with them two?”
“Acacia used to date Calum and um,” Michael played with his hair, “The rest is for you to find out.” Ashton looked through the curtain to check on them, and shrugged. At least I could put a name to Calum and Luke’s problem, Acacia. It doesn’t make sense if she’s Calum’s ex and Luke is upset. I slightly pouted at the thought, and Ashton smirked.
“Don’t worry babe, I’ll teach you how to make pancakes” Ashton whispered in my ear as we walked into the kitchen.
(OOOOOOO ASHTON IDEK DONT KILL ME he just said babe and whispered in her ear don't make a big deal.
