We arrived at the small wooden building that said “Seneca Caverns” on it. All the lights were off and the door was locked.

“I’ve got this guys,” Lou Ellen said as she stepped up to the door, “Kayla can I please have an arrow. I will give it back, I promise.” Reluctantly Kayla handed her an arrow from her quiver. Lou Ellen used some type of magic to turn it into a paperclip, and then picked the lock. She turned it back into an arrow then handed it to Kayla. “There. I will wait out here. You guys go do whatever you need to do.”

“Why aren’t you coming with us?” Kayla asked.

“Because we have to be careful of all things set in threes,” Lou Ellen and I said in unision. We gave each other the same weird look afterwards as well. Then we all laughed.

I went inside. Kayla hesitated,”Isn’t this breaking and entering?”

“We do whatever we have to do,” I said as I pulled her after me. It was dark, but that wasn't an issue, not for me at least. I’d been here several times, I knew my way around.

“It’s really dark in here,” Kayla gulped. I forgot that most Apollo kids were afraid of the dark.

“It’s fine. I know exactly where I’m going. You worry too much.”

“Are we going to a place that isn’t so dark?”

“No, actually it is darker, but I’m right here so it will be fine,” I replied annoyed. Finally we got to the entrance of the cave. We walked down the slippery stairs made from the rock. “Okay so we have to keep going until we see a faint light coming from a necklace like thing,” I said slowly walking down the stairs, occasionally making sure that Kayla was behind me.

“There,” she said tapping my shoulder and turning me around.

“Great! Let’s grab it and get out of here!” I said whisper shouting. I quickly, but carefully ran down the steps to the necklace thing. I grabbed it off of the rock where it had been laying. I obviously wasn’t thinking straight when I did that.
