Another week filtered by. Then a month. Conversations were held over phone calls and texts that were spaced far between the days. The Rocket League video was set in Mark's 'To Be Finished/Scrapped' folder, ready for the day Jack got better. Signe said Jack's condition wasn't getting any better, and was even worsening a bit as October arrived. Mark was very worried about him, but never had the time to fly to Ireland to visit him. It was October 27th, and the LA air outside was slightly brisk, but still had that Californian warmth. Mark knew it was much colder in Ireland. That gave him an idea. He pulled his phone from his pocket and scratched Chica behind the ears and he dialed Signe's number. One ring. Two r-
"Hello?"
"Hey Signe, it's Mark," he said, eager to express his ideas.
"Oh hey, Mark. Calling for Seán?"
"Not this time, actually. I was wondering something. Would it be better for Jack's health if he actually spent some time in the warm sun instead of the cold Ireland rain?"
"That's a wonderful idea! He's sleeping right now, but as soon as he wakes up, I'll ask."
"Thanks," Mark said, happy the idea went over well.
"You're very welcome."

Mark set his phone down on the counter and picked up a dog toy, tossing it across the room and watching Chica, his loveable golden retriever, dash after it. He was excited to see Jack again, and maybe the sun would help him recover from whatever Ireland had thrown at him.
