Prompt: Person A is in surgery while persons B, C+ are in the waiting room. Who is freaking, and pacing around the room? Who acts calm and collected, but is freaking out on the inside? Who tells the other(s) to calm down? Who is the first to speak to the doctor when they enter the waiting room? What about person A; are they alright? What surgery are they having? Why are they having it? Will they survive and awake to find those in the waiting room by their side? Or will things take a turn for the worst?

"This is our fault," Nitro babbled, zipping in flashes of golden from one side of the long, gray hallway to the other. The corridor was void of anyone but the group before him. "We should never have left her alone."

"You make it seem like we wanted this to happen zippy," Deckerd snarled.

"Both of you," Kaylee snapped, looking to the two dragons as they squared off growling. "Back off, none of this is anyone's fault, she's just..." Kaylee trailed off and looked to the door of the surgery room. "A victim of unfortunate circumstance. Besides, if she belongs anywhere, it's Hell Scars now. She should have been dead a long time ago." Both froze and stared down the Demi-god in horror.

"W-what?" Nitro asked shaking.

"She's a royal pixie," Kaylee explained softly. "King Roland's kid. Not to mention her mother is Altara Tenebris. The same damn women who started the war against the Hellcats." Both were silent, and Nitro finally took a seat on the far side of the hallway shaken.

"Oh Hades," Nitro muttered, reaching up to run a hand through his hair. Running footsteps echoed from the corridor behind them, and Kaylee turned to watch two of her brother's skid around a corner, and slow to a walk as they approached the trio.

"We got here as fast as we could," Maximus panted, dropping to lean on his knees to catch his breath. Duke, rolled his shoulder, breathing forcibly even before he turned calm eyes to Kaylee. Her heart ached at the concern and panic she knew was there, but hidden beneath the surface.

"What's going on?" He asked, phone absently sending her a text. She didn't need to look at it to know it was a frown.

"Bryn's in surgery," Kaylee told them tentatively. "She went under –"

"Half hour," Deckerd muttered from his place on the floor, eyes staring dead at the floor between his feet. "She went under half an hour ago."

"It feels like longer," Nitro muttered, his head buried in his arms and his knees were drawn tight to his chest.

"Surgery?" Maximus yelled horrified. "For what?!" He swung around to jerk his gaze between Nitro and Deckerd. "What did you idiots do?!"

"They didn't do anything," Duke said, making his brother blink confusedly. "She choose to go in," he glanced at Kaylee, and she nodded softly in confirmation.

"She's getting pixie sacks removed," Kaylee said slowly, "Ajax is doing the procedure. Kaylee pointed at Duke sternly, despite the fact both he, and Maximus had gone to take a seat on the floor. "I'm going to find books on Pixie's and their health, you keep me updated."

"Yes, sister."

When Ajax stepped out of the OR, he gave the group sprawled around the corridor a gentle smile. Kaylee had her nose buried in a mound of books, and barely spared the man a glance before turning back to her research. She was quick to abandon the pile as soon as she registered him.

"Ajax– You're out early is everything–" Ajax raised a hand and set it on her shoulder, still smiling as she shook and stared up at him with concern.

"She's fine," Ajax soothed. "It went well, and she should recover quickly over the next few days or so. The sacks have been burned and destroyed aside from the samples you asked for, I'll help you with those later." Kaylee relaxed, and Ajax pulled his student into a hug when she gave a shaking sob of relief and clung to his frame. "She's okay," he repeated softly. Ajax shuffled himself and Kaylee to the side when he noticed Nitro stirring, and gestured at the door when the flash blinked at him, and realization sparked in his eyes.

"Don't jar her too badly," Ajax warned, "she's asleep, and she'll be in a decent amount of pain when she gets up." There was a blur of cold, and the loud crackle of energy that sent the other three spasming into awareness, and rushing after Nitro as soon as Ajax gave them a nod.

"I gotta tell Revyn," Kaylee sobbed out, "A-and Tennie, a-and the others."

"You will go inside and be with your friend," Ajax said sternly. "I'll talk to the others."
