**Ava's POV**

"Alright class listen up, we have a new student who will be here in a few minutes, I want you to make her feel welcome." The teacher announced giving Tiffany and her friends a warning look.

"Somebody's claiming your 'new student' title." I whispered to Ratliff, making him smile.

"Here she is, tell everyone your name then take a seat sweetie." The teacher said in a voice so fake I wanted to gag.

"I'm Rydel Lynch, I moved here this weekend with my brothers." Rydel said and smiled before sitting at the front.

I froze, double coincidence?

I tried to keep my mind busy, but I could help but keep glancing at the new girl, is it even possible that she could be the best friend I never met?

"She's cute huh?" Ratliff whispered, winking at me.

"Shut up, I'm not gay" I laughed quietly.

"Oh yeah? Then why are you so fascinated about her? You can't deny you've been staring since she got here.." He whispered.

"It's...complicated." I whispered back. He raised an eyebrow at me confused.

"I'll tell you later." I said looking at the teacher, to make sure she wasn't aware that we were talking during class.

The new girl Rydel was in my next two classes as well as, her brothers, Riker and Rocky.

I was starting to freak out, but most of me was in denial, there's just no possible way this could happen!

I put my books in my locker and turned around to find Ratliff so we could go to lunch, but instead Tiffany and her friends surrounded me.

"Leave me alone." I said calmly, I was sick of them and not in the mood to deal with them right now.

"Oh? You talk now? Impressive." Olivia smirked giving Tiffany and Chelsea a look.

"Is that boyfriend of yours still around? I'm surprised you haven't fucked the whole school by now." Chelsea laughed at her comment.

"Shut up." I said through clenched teeth.

"Why don't you make me?" She mocked.

I glared at her, stepping forward trying to get past, but instead Tiffany shoved me back against the lockers.

"Your not going anywhere." She sneered and stomped on my foot with her heel.

I grit my teeth against the pain and kicked her in the shin, which caused her to yelp in pain and grab my hair pulling hard.

"Hey! Leave her alone!" I couldn't see who was talking, but they sounded furious.

"Um nah." Tiffany replied, digging her nails into my head and grinning.

"Tiff let's just go, before one of these freaks do something they'll regret." Olivia said and her and Chelsea began to walk away.

"Fine, whatever." Tiffany yelled and shoved me to the ground, walking after her friends.

"Ouch." I mumbled, getting up from the floor once again.

"Are you alright?" Rydel asked walking over to me.

"Yeah I'll be fine, thanks for sticking up for me." I smiled at her.

"Of course! I can't stand bullies, I have a best friend online that gets bullied and she wants to end her life because of it, it's a horrible thing, but she hasn't replied to me in a couple days, I'm worried sick." Rydel explained to me.

I sat stunned for a minute, is that really Rydel? Is she talking about me?

"You sure your alright? You seem kinda out of it..." Rydel paused to ask.

"Yeah... Want to sit by me at lunch?" I asked, maybe I could learn more about her, and see if it is really her, I didn't have my hopes up though, good things never happened to me.

"Sure, let's go." She replied.

We got our food and sat down, she began eating, but my stomach was uneasy and I felt like I was going to throw up, so I mainly just played in it with my fork.

"Hope you don't mind a few more people." A blonde boy said, sitting down next to Rydel.

I watched in shock as another blonde haired boy and a brown haired boy sat down.

"These are my brothers, Riker, Ross, and Rocky." Rydel motioned to each brother saying their names.

I stared at them, starting to really freak out.

"What's your online friends name?" I whispered to Rydel.

"Ava, why?" She answered looking confused.

I couldn't believe it, my best friend was right here in front of me, my wish to meet her came true, so I did the only thing I could think of, I stood up and ran.

I ran to the school bathroom and locked myself in a stall, tears falling down my face as I pulled my phone out of my pocket and logged onto twitter.

I ignored the old messages from Rydel and began typing a new one.

Ava: After school go to the coffee shop, Riker and Ross know which one I'm talking about.

I sent the message to Rydel and held my breath, if this message didn't give it away, I was going to tell Rydel who I was after school, at the coffee shop.

Rydel: Okay.... That's a little random, what for?? and how do you know they will know which one?

I didn't answer and just walked out of school, walking to the coffee shop, it was 2 miles and a couple blocks away from the school so I decided to skip the rest of my classes and just head there to wait.

I got there 10 minutes before school would get out and ordered a coffee and waited for Rydel.

I watched as people came in and ordered then left, I watched people pull in, then pull out and drive off.

Just as I was about to chicken out and go home I heard the bell chime and looked up to see Rydel walk in.

"Rydel, over here." I called out waving her over to me.

She frowned, looking at me confused, before walking over and sitting next to me.

"Rydel..... It's me, Ava." I said slowly, getting right to the point.

She furrowed her eyebrows, "okay...?" Then it must have clicked because her eyes went wide, "Ava? As in @/crybabyloser from twitter?" She nearly yelled at me.

"Yes." I breathed out.

The next thing I knew she was in the seat next to me, giving me a bone crushing hug.

We were both crying when she pulled away and sat back across from me, wiping her eyes.

"I can't believe this..." She whispered.

"I know, it's unreal." I replied with a little laugh.

We sat and talked until dark, she told me about how her mom and dad and her brother Ryland stayed in their hometown and how she moved here and lives with her 3 brothers.

I told her about how my dad is always away for work, and that my mom left us for her new boyfriend.

"You have to come over for dinner, I'm not done hanging out with my best friend yet!" Rydel said, standing up and leading me out to her car.

I nodded and smiled, never in a million years would I have expected this to happen, I felt extremely happy at the moment.

But little did I know happiness doesn't last long.... Especially not mine.
