Hey guys, to some of you this might be familiar because this was chapter from my uncontinued story, Enchanted, which is about Miefer. I reread it and realized that this chapter, that was purely about Thomara, could stand alone. So I posted it here for you guys who haven't read it to enjoy! (The link of the original chapter is on the side!)

After a lot of phone calls, Thomas’s plan was a go. He made sure everyone involved in his plan was ready and informed about every single detail. Thomas wasn’t the kind of person who was particular about details, but he wanted his surprise to be the perfect. So he was very panicky and troubled. He had every reason to be nervous. His plan was very complicated, it required a lot of people, and it also required precision. He asked help from his teammates, the Lady Spikers, and even from his friends from other schools.

It was 2 in the morning and Thomas still hasn’t slept. His eyes were glued to his laptop, and the only thing he could hear was the sound of his fingers tapping on his keyboard. He was finishing details involved in his surprise for Ara.

He looked around the dorm room he shared with Jeron. Its floors were usually clean, but at this very moment, there were many things scattered – including a bunch of tired boys. Since his plan needed a lot of work, he called reinforcements to help him and Jeron – namely Jeric, Forts, Von, Ryan, and Nico. Of course his teammates helped too, but they needed all the help they could get. It took them until 12 MN to finish everything.

When he looked at his friends, he couldn’t help but smile.

“Grabe Thomas, ang swerte mo talaga.” He told himself while picking up used paper, cut out cardboard, pieces of cellophane and excess flower petals.

After cleaning up, Thomas decided to rest.

But after an hour, he still couldn’t sleep.

He was nervous – very, very nervous for that matter.

He thought to himself, “ Thomas, ano ka ba naman. Bakit ka kinakabahan? Nagpaalam ka naman sa parents niya. Diba?”

Flashback: Last weekend

Thomas knew, even though he’s only been courting Ara for a month, that he was ready to take their relationship to another level. He wanted Ara to be his girl.

So now, he’s on his way to Pampanga. He’s going to talk to Ara’s parents and ask for their permission.

He already met them during a game, but it was just a brief introduction. Ara just introduced his as one of her friends.

He knew it was corny, but the opinion of Ara’s parents is very important to him. He wanted them to be assured that he will love and take care of their daughter no matter what happens.

The drive was long – it took him about 3 hours to get to Ara’s house. But he knew it would be worth it.

When he finally arrived at Ara’s house, that’s when he realized he was nervous.

He tried to pep-talk himself, “Thomas, kaya mo yan. Hindi mo na kailangan ng lines. Let your heart do the talking, okay? Mukha namang mabait yung parents ni Ara e. Okay, kaya mo ‘to! All for Ara!”

He parked his car and started walking towards Ara’s house. He got the address from Mika, who called Ara’s parents telling them that Thomas would be going there. When Mika told them that, they didn’t inquire much because they had a feeling on what Thomas’s visit was for.

He knocked at the door and he was greeted by Ara’s big brother, Jun.

Jun looked at him from head to toe and remembered who he was, “Ikaw si Thomas diba?”
