We finally got back to the building, and as soon as I opened the door I collapsed onto my bed. I was physically and emotionally exhausted.

That night I dreamed about James. Instead of me hating him, we were dating. I actually looked happy. The whole night I just pictured us doing cute, couple-y things.

The next morning:

I dragged myself out of bed the next morning to talk to Care before I had to go.

"Hey Care, I'm going to grab some breakfast.

"Okay. See you tonight."

I waved goodbye. I only have about ten minutes for breakfast because I have classes all day. I grabbed a waffle and at it as fast as I could. I only had a small breakfast because I wanted to take the long way to class.

About halfway to the building, I heard someone talking in front of me. It was James and another girl. I could tell she liked him because she did the stereotypical hair twirl and laughed like there was no tomorrow.

By the time I got to class, I had cooled off. I just have to keep telling myself, "he is not your problem. You have Daniel." After repeating my new motto a few times, I couldn't stop thinking about Daniel. He hasn't texted me so far, but it isn't even lunch time yet.

By the end of the lecture I hadn't said one word to James. Deep down I was jealous no matter what I said to myself. I tried to run out without him catching me, but he did.

Damn his strength to hell! I tried to wriggle out of his grasp, but he wouldn't have it.

"Hey, Dri. What's the hurry?"

"I have to get to my other classes. Please let go."

"No. Tell me why you're so mad.", he pleaded.

"I'm not mad. Just really tired from studying for exams this week. I'll talk to you later. Promise."

He finally let me pull away, and told me he would see me later. I appreciate that he didn't give up on me so easily, but I knew I should be with Daniel.

After a long day of classes I got a text from Daniel.

"Hey, beautiful. You kind of ran out on me last night. Make it up to me later? - Daniel"

"Yea, sure. Where do you want to meet? By the time I get ready it will be around 6. - Alex"

It took a few minutes, but he finally replied.

"Meet me at my frat house. I'll wait for you outside. See you soon :) - Daniel"

I broke into a sprint back to my dorm room, and Care was already there.

"CARE! HELP ME FIND AN OUTFIT FOR TONIGHT!"

"OMG, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?"

After I calmed down, we headed towards to closet. I picked a slimming black tee with tight jeans that made my butt look amazing. Care helped me straighten my hair and do natural looking makeup. As soon as I knew I looked super hot, Care pressed me for details.

"Dri, where are you going?"

"Daniel texted me to meet him!! If I don't start walking now, I'll be late."

"Good luck girl! Get yourself a hot guy!"

"Thanks, Care! I don't know what I would do without you!", I yell as I head down the stairs.

The whole way to Daniels fraternity I was a wreck. I could feel myself getting really nervous, and that would be bad. I sat on a bench and took deep breaths until I felt better. As I walked closer to the house, he waved me over.

"Sorry Daniel! It took me forever to get over here. I had a shoe malfunction."

"No problem. I'm just glad you showed. Let's go up to my room."

I smiled him and silently followed him to his room. It was surprisingly clean for a college student. I'm ashamed to say that Care and I's room isn't even this clean! I told him that. Not the part about me being a typical college slob, but that he was very neat. We sat on his bed and starting talking.

"So, who nick-named you Alex?", he inquired.

"You.", I laughed. No one had ever called me that before.

"Wow. I feel special."

"Eh. Maybe. If you called me in a crowd, it would take me a while to figure out it was me you were talking about."

We both laughed about that and he decided to just stick with Dri. I like to think of it as my American nick-name.

"I feel like you wouldn't be the type of girl to do this, but just to be sure; do you have a boyfriend?" He looked so worried I would say I did have one.

"I do not. Do you have a girlfriend I should know about?"

"Hm. Let me take a second to think about it.

I playfully punched him, but he had a different idea. He started to tickle me until I had tears coming out of my eyes. I kept telling him to stop, but he didn't until we fell on the floor.

I was still laughing, but now I was sitting on top of him and it got serious quick. I brought my lips down to his and he met me halfway. After a couple seconds he flipped us over so he was hovering over me.

He craned his neck down to me so I wouldn't hurt mine. We laid there for what felt like forever. It was my favorite college experience yet. I would have never stopped, but someone barged into his room.

"Hey, D, can I-"

Before the random guy could finish his sentence I tried to get up. Daniel kept me pinned down underneath him though.

"Hey, Ethan. This is my girlfriend Dri. What do you need?" he said, and I swooned when he said girlfriend. Literally swooned.

"Nice to meet you Dri. I need to borrow your laptop charger.", said Ethan.

"Sure man. Its over there, but hurry up and get out."

Ethan chuckled and quickly left. I told Daniel I needed to get up because it was probably late, but he stayed where he was.

"I love looking into your eyes. They're green, which most people don't prefer, but when I saw you I changed my mind. All I see is your eyes when I close mine. I'm really glad I met you.", he conceded.

"I'm really glad I met you too.", I smiled. I gave him a quick kiss, but tickled him so he would get up. He playfully yelled at me for stealing his trick, and finally let me up.

I told him I had to leave or Care would be worried. He reluctantly let me go. I called Care and told her I was on my way. A couple minutes later I got a text from her:

"Dri, there's another party in the building. Watch for the drunks. See you in the morning! - Care"
