"Why are we doing this again?" Jessica complained from her seat behind Eights and Sabine.
"I don't even know." Circuits piped up from the seat next to her.
"For the last time you guys haven't seen your family in like 10 years come on Eights back me up." She asked him.
"I still don't know if this is a good idea." He responded and she rolled her eyes.
"Well you should of told us this before Sabine set the hyperspace coordinates, oh wait you did." Jessica said and laughed.
"Jessica don't you want to met Circuits' parents I mean you two are kind of serious." Sabine was desperate for any kind of back up.
"Everyone has secrets and if I don't meet his parents that's fine, it's his call."
"I don't want to do this." Circuits said and crossed his arms.
"Then why did you get in the ship." Sabine said and turned around, leaning over the back of her chair, straddling it.
"You said there was a mission of critical importance and if we didn't get on someone would die." Circuits said.
"To be fair we should of been suspicious when she asked us what are home planet was." Eights told Circuits.
"Fine fine." He agreed as Kanan walked in.
"Hey Sabine where do you want the crates of fuel?" He asked.
"The cargo bay is fine and Kanan for the hundredth time this is your ship too you could put them in the kitchen for all I care."
"Ok thanks." He said and walked off.
Sabine knew that wasn't Kanan, but she played along and liked to distract herself with whatever game this Kanan was playing, so far he hadn't done anything wrong just acted weird sometimes. So she didn't question it. She felt bad for Hera though, if she would ever wake up.
Eights was a little nervous about seeing his parents again, he missed them so much, it's been too long but tries not to show it. Sometimes Sabine would notice a longing look on his face and try to make him feel better.
Circuits missed his parents too but not as much as Eights, they were good parents and his parents had been good friends of Eights' but they expected to much from him, they were probably so angry when they heard he had deflected and his family probably suffered from his choice. His older sister was still working for the Empire, probably trying to repay his mistakes. He thought not knowing what has happened to them was better than knowing then he could just imagine them happy and safe.
Jessica was so glad she wasn't going to se her family.
Chopper beeped some from his place at the back of the cockpit.
"We are almost there Chopper." Sabine and Eights said almost simultaneously.
Eights blushed and Sabine held in a chuckle.
He beeped reply.
"I get it I get it you're impatient." Sabine said and programmed the jump out of hyperspace. "Here is this good."
They jumped out of hyperspace over Tatooine, where Eights and Circuits grew up.
Home. Eights thought.
Sand. Sabine thought. It gets everywhere
