"Sabine.." A voice cracked though her comm, filling the empty silence of the table.
"I'll be right back." She said, getting up and walking outside.
"What is it?" She picked up her comm and asked.
"Sabine I have some bad news." Vent said though the comm.
Sabine felt her stomach drop.
"What is it?" She asked again.
"Hera she's gone."
"What do you mean by gone?"
"She's up and vanished from the medic bay, no one saw anything the cameras even just show her basically vanishing but that's not the worst part it wasn't just Hera who had gone missing our almost full medic bay now only has like two people left."
"I'm coming." She said.
"No I told you this so you would know what was going on you don't need to come."
"I'm coming." She repeated.
"Fine." Vent mumbled and turned off his comm.
"Come on we are leaving." Sabine walked in and said gaining a few confuse looks from the people seated at the table.
"We just got here." Kanan said, confused.
"Emergency back on the base." Sabine quickly explained. "Sorry to pop in and run."
"It's ok." Riley said.
"I'll come back Mom." Eights told them.
"Hey look at me Eights." Riley told her son. "Don't come back you have another duty now it pains me to say but I love you and want the very best for you."
"Mom..."
"Your mother is right don't come back there is nothing here for you, just us and we'll be fine without you." His father smiled.
John pouted.
Eights thought about saying something to counter their words but stayed silent.
"I'll be on the ship." Sabine said and walked out with Kanan.
"Goodbye I love you all." He said instead and hugged his family. "I won't forget you."
"Neither will we." Phil said and smiled though tears brimming his eyes.
"Bye Peter."
"Bye brother."
Eights reluctantly walked out of his family home and got back in the Ghost.
Chopper beeped at him when he sat down next to Sabine in the copilot chair.
"Don't tease him Chopper of course he's crying." Sabine answered.
Eights wiped his tears on his sleeve. "Hey you don't be teasing me either."
"Sorry." She said and smiled.
Eights rolled his eyes and started up the ship.

"You sure you don't want to say goodbye you know you'll regret it." Jessica asked Circuits as she sat down behind Sabine.
"I'm sure." Circuits said sitting down behind Eights.
"Ok." Jessica said unconvinced.
The Ghost started up and flew away from Tatooine and was headed to the base on Lah'mu.

Vent walked though the base camp and was startled when he heard screams coming from every direction.
"What's going on?" He commed and picked up his pace.
Static.
"Anyone pick up!" He commed frantic. "Mouse? Roe? Cane?"
Static.
He almost ran smack dab into a figure while turning around a corner.
"I'm sorry." Vent said and started to back up. "Hey I don't remember you. You aren't supposed to be here."
The figure said nothing as Vent drew his gun but he was too late.
Zip.
Something hit his arm and the whole world around him went dark.
