"Ezra! We're back." Sabine exclaimed walking into the Ghost.

"Ok." He yelled back. "How did it go?"

"Great." She replied and they all congregated in the main room.

"So what's next?" He asked, and looked up at her from where he was sitting. Del was sitting under his legs messing with her hair.

"What's next is that we say goodbye." Eights smiled sadly from the doorway.

"What does that mean?" Ezra asked, confused and for the first time in a long while, scared.

"We have talked a lot about what's our next move for the rebellion, for the galaxy." Hera provided some light on Eights's statement. "And we..." She gestured to Eights, Roe, and Chopper. "Are staying here, whatever's next I feel the need to be here, we even talked about training a next generation of pilots."

"And I was thinking about being an engineer teacher after going back to school." Roe inputted.

Sabine nodded and smiled. "That would be amazing, Roe."

"And I was thinking of joining Hera and helping teach, I really do love to fly and you of all people Ezra know it." Eights said.

"I do know it." He laughed, but there was sadness to his tone. "So this sounds like finally the end of the Ghost crew."

"No the Ghost crew ended when we were taken by Thrawn, the Ghost crew ended when Kanan died the first time, the Ghost crew ended when Zeb died." Hera added, and everyone had tears in their eyes. "It ended when you taken Ezra."

"I thought this was just a regroup and go, not a final goodbye." Ezra laughed, trying to lighten the tone a bit. "But what about Del and you, Sabine?"

"Del's welcome to stay with me." Roe replied. "I'm sure I can take care of her and maybe we can find Ahsoka again to help."

Del looked up at the mention of her name. "But I don't want to leave Ezzy." She protested.

"Sabine, what about you?" Ezra asked her again, feeling bad about ignoring Del, but curiosity got the better of him.

"I thought maybe I could go with you. Hera said we could have the Phantom so I thought maybe we could finally be together." She smiled, lightly.

"That would be a dream come true." He smiled as well and swept her into his arms and sat her back down, gently. "But that's not going to make saying goodbye to these amazing people any easier."

Chopper beeped.

"Excuse me amazing people and droid." Ezra corrected himself.

"I know, but the best way to move forward is to move on." Eights answered. "Our paths just aren't along the same line anymore."

"What about the New Republic? What about Thrawn?" Ezra asked. "Don't you need us, Hera?" Holding into a thread of hope that maybe there doesn't have to be a goodbye.

"We can handle ourselves." Hera answered and smiled. "I was taking care of everyone long before you all showed up. We can all keep in touch so you don't have to worry."

"Don't worry about us Ezra, you deserve to be happy." Eights tried to lighten Ezra's mood.

"We all deserve to be happy." Ezra replied. "If this is our happy ending then why does it feel so sad?"

"The saying itself says it's the end of one story, but this isn't what this is, this is a new day a new beginning." Sabine smiled and looked at Ezra.
