"Well Cartre, that's an interesting story." Vader told the same nervous man from before.
"I'm sure Grand Admiral Thrawn will be able to shed more light on this situation, when we get to him." Cartre replied, sweating a bit. Being in command of this operation under Thrawn wasn't what you would call calming. He was a bit teed off that Vader didn't address his command status, but he knew better than to scold a Sith Lord.
He found it rather odd that Vader didn't ask where Thrawn was it was like he could sense it. That was creepy, very creepy. Cartre thought.

Ezra took a breath as the troops stopped coming. There was only two people now making their was towards him. He had bad bruises up and down his body from where he had to hand-to-hand combat a few people.
Everything hurt and the worse part was that he couldn't see it, see that the pain hurt more.

"Well shouldn't we at least find Eights, Circuits, Vent, Cane, Jessica, Roe, Mouse and whoever we can pick up while we are at it." Hera commented.
"No we don't have time." Sabine snapped and Hera took a step back. "We have to leave."
"Don't make me stab you in the neck, Sabine. This isn't you?"
"How do you know that? Maybe this is who I was always destined to be."
"Destiny is a funny thing." A voice joined in their conversation, and the two girls turned to face their new foe. "You can blame destiny for the bad things that happen, question why this all has to happen to you."
"Ahsoka?" Sabine asked, clearly confused.
"It's Kalna." She corrected and Hera seemed too dumbstruck to make words. "Actually I really don't know."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Who you are takes a lifetime to find out and a second to lose. Greed, power, destruction, loss, those things all change people, but were those things meant to change them to who they truly are or turn them away from the path they are supposed to walk. That choice is up to you to make alone. I don't know who I am yet, but I'm trying to figure it out." She answered and left Sabine more confused than when they had started.

They had stopped coming. Ezra took a seat on the medic bed and wondered what was going to happen next. Did I go though all the troops at the base already? He thought, but he didn't think so. Someone somewhere had a plan and that person was making a beeline right for him.
Ezra turned to Chopper and decided against turning him back on. He didn't need the droid yelling at him for killing all these people. How many people did I kill? He thought with a little regret. No I've done this before this time should be no different to my conscience these people don't matter, they needed to die. They were in my way and I had to dispose of them accordingly. He tried to convince himself of it, but it wasn't working as it used to.
Maybe it would be good for all this to end, even if it means all of our lives at least we can slow down the Empire. Ezra thought and was informed that the medic droid was done with the operation. He nodded and reached to turn it off.
"Hey hey don't do that these people need medical atten-" The droid started, but Ezra cut him off.
"I don't need this right now I already have a moral battle going on in my head. How do I control him?"
The droid looked confused. "You did this?"
"How come the droid has more heart than I do." He said to no one in particular. "Just answer my question."
"The orange droid programmed me to give him full control of this chiss."
"Dang it, Chopper! You little sith." Ezra cursed, angrily turning off the medic droid before it could protest more. "I can never ask that droid to do what I tell him. It's to late to change anything, let's hope he corporates and I don't have to hold them both at lightsaber point."
Ezra flipped Chopper back on. The droid whirled to life and started panicking.
"Calm down, trash can. You didn't miss much."
Chopper gestured to the dead people around them.
"They were trying to stop me."
Chopper beeped again and Ezra's heart sank a bit.
"I don't care about her." He said, not fully meaning it.
Beep! Whop!
"Circuits doesn't need to know I was the one who killed Jessica. I'll blame it on Thrawn."
Beep! You won't need to tell him you killed him too. I warned you about this. Beep! Chopper seemed angry more that anything.
Ezra gulped. If Vader doesn't kill me Eights will. "I don't care."
Beep! Sure you don't.
"I would cut you in half right now, but I need you to control Thrawn."
Whoop!
"Fine. You are the greatest droid of all time."
Beep!
"I'm not saying that."
Thrawn slapped Ezra's face while he was still unconscious on the bed.
"Fine." Ezra said, rubbing his cheek and shot Chopper a look that could cut though rock. " I want to tell Sabine I'm sorry and make out with her and have a million kids. Happy now, you sick droid?"
Chopper beeped happily.
"Ok now get Thrawn up."
Beep!
Thrawn sat up, looking confused. "Where am I?"
"Just where you are supposed to be."
