I had to have fixed 3 generators by now, but I couldn't find a fourth. I know that there is a fourth because I went back to the gate but it still wouldn't open!
Other than that I ran into the invisible man over 6 times now, all of which I ended up losing him. Thank god for that. I've learned that silence is key in this forgotten world, and the only way to survive is to stay low and move slowly, not making a noise. One small snap of a twig could send you to those hooks. I shiver at the thought of those death traps. I had seen a couple while fixing the generators. I've never come close to being on one though. I was pretty lucky to be alive right now after all. Who knows the amount of people this guy has killed.
I finally spotted the next generator, and I was about to go rush over to it when I feel a sharp pain in my side. Looking down quickly I realize that there was a shallow cut down my side, and that's when I noticed the killer standing behind me. I made a break for a wall, jumping through a small window. The pain in my side was rapidly increasing and I didn't know how much longer I could run, the pain was unbearable.
The heart beat banged against my ears as I ran, I found that this is a sign of when the killer is nearest to you, the duller the sound the better.
As I was running I was suddenly pulled behind a wall, a hand covering my mouth.
The sound of the heart beat got even louder and I had to refrain myself from crying out. The terror I felt at this very moment.
The heart beat gradually became duller till it was no more and the hand that had wrapped itself around my mouth let go. I turned towards the person who had just saved my life and realize it was another man, a human. I didn't know if I should feel joy and happiness because I had just found another living being, that might not kill me. If I should be scared that this person will kill me.
"You don't have to be scared, I'm a survivor just like you." I sighed in relief at this and raised my hand out I front of me, standing up.
"I'm nick" I say and the man grabs my hand.
"Dawn," I pulled him up on his feet and take a look at the human in front of me. He was wearing a dark blue jacket that was torn and covered in blood, he had ripped black jeans and black sneakers. His hair was also black and you could visibly see the dried blood littered all over it.
Dawns eyes widen when he looks at my bleeding side. He quickly takes off a black backpack and pulls out a med kit form inside.
"Here let me help you." I nod and stumble over to him. He takes out gauzes and what looks to be solosite wound gel (at least that what it says on the tub)
"This will sting." I nod and squeeze my eyes together as his cold hands place the cold gel on my side. Wincing a bit when I feel the pain and then wraps gauzes around my side and pulls down my shirt.
"Thanks, I didn't think I'd find anyone else out here." I smile kindly at dawn and he smiles back.
"Well you're in luck, I have a group of survivors..somewhere, we got separated awhile back. But I'm sure if they're still alive we will find them!" I sigh happily. Finally, I won't be alone.
Me and dawn then head out to fix the last generator and get out of this hell hole. Finding the others shouldn't be that hard right?
