Climbing up to the clock towers roof Natalie ran over to the ledge to assess the situation. With the swarm of demons being shaved down to a more countable number, there was not much left in the way of threats taking up the air space.

This gave Natalie enough time to really take absorb the scenario they were currently in. The distant clashing of swords to a demons tough exoskeleton. The sound of shattering glass and cries pattering through the air, the updraft smell of burning wood, stone and other scents she could not identify.

The ghostly sight of a town almost void of daily life being overshadowed by a great white orb trapped in the heavens. All glossed over with the light pitta patter of rain drops.

It was all so daunting and suffocating, but it was rather serial. She took the time to reflect and wonder about the wellbeing of her partner Andrew.

Has he made it to the location by now? Her mind mumbled.

"I'm going to begin the summoning now; it shouldn't take a minute," Sophie said grabbing her attention.

With them both Natalie and Sophie on the same page Natalie turned back around and dulled her senses to the distant sounds and smells that had a hold on her a moment prior. Sharpening them to react to any sudden movement within her zone she looks around for any incoming danger.

Suddenly two demons come circling around from some distance. Natalie was about to summon a thunder strike on one of them until she sees a burning bright light close in on her left. Pulling her wing up just in time the fireball hit her dead on sending her flying into the clock tower.

Like hounds on the smell of blood the two demons plus the one on her blind spot all charged into her location at breakneck speeds. Sophie distracted by the predicament of her friend stopped her preparation to assist her but was call off from doing so by Natalie.

"Keep at it!" she barked.

Before Sophie could respond one of the three demons came crashing into Natalie with a thrust of its large pincer-like hands locking her within its grasp. Wrapped in the blanket of her wings Natalie struggled against the sheer force of the crushing pincers that tried their best to snap her in two. Rubble crumbled down from the clock tower forcing Sophie to shield her eyes from its descent.

Looking up at the culprit she sees Natalie struggle breaking her focuses from the task at hand. She was about to put her effort into helping, however, Natalie's body began the flicker and crackle with electricity. With this current travelling up the large demons pincer, it becoming staggered from shock loosened its grip.

With a fierce cry, Natalie broke free from its clutches sending waves of thunder down from the heavens from her awoken rage. With the staggered demon backing away it attempted to charge and shoot off a fireball in retreat. Natalie looks upon the demon with eyes holding behind it a provoked anger.

Before the demon could fire the projectile Natalie in a blitz of speed had already covered the space that the demon made between them. Appearing from below she palmed its gaped hard. Slamming its flame bearing jaw shut its front teeth and jawline shattered from the snap. In that moment like an instinctive sneeze, it let loose its charged fireball that now had nowhere to travel but within the cage of its own mouth. Blowing up within it ruptured its internal organs to such an extent that black soot like smoke came flowing out of its mouth and it's exoskeleton cracked under the immense force of the explosion.

And just because she was able to Natalie latched onto its head and with a charged of electricity in her palm tossed the demon as fast and hard as she down to the earth below letting it crash into the town with a great thud. It was safe to say that Natalie was angry, angry at a people who made her feel what she regret she'd been changed to.
