The four of them approach the lone cottage in the field of green that was Andrew's mother's house. And although they were all in one piece there dirt covered clothes along with blood stained skin marked them as worse for wear.
And even though the mood seemed to have been lifted from all the things they have been through in the past hour there was still a bazaar vibe hanging among them.
Andrew glared at Flynn walking beside him through the corner of his eye, he seemed rather chipper for someone who had only just gotten back onto his feet, his smile had an uncanny resemblance to the cheeky grin Sophie gave them before she put her plan in motion. And although Andrew knew what this meant already it still stunted him.
"Sophie," he said towards the silver hired swordsman. Not getting a response however his glare turned to narrow slits. "This is not going to work," he said whilst shaking his head and pushing his hands deep into pockets.
"Silly Andrew, I'm not 'Sophie'," she said within Flynn's body, a playful tone concern for the matter. "I'm Flynn remember? The one whom you seek is right behind you,"
"You know what I mean don't play dumb!" Andrew snapped.
"But if I were to have answered you as I am now would that not been a wise move considering the circumstance?" she asked.
Andrew not wanting to agree with her looked off to the opposite way with a pout.
"Guess you have a point," he mumbled to himself.
Looking on over his shoulder at Flynn in Sophie's body he becomes suspect to his spaced out demeanour. Looking at his hands in deep thought Andrew decides to test him.
"You ok Flynn, how are you feeling?" he said.
Flynn in hearing this responded with a 'huh' which broke Andrew out of his act of caring.
"You see?! This is not going to work!!" he turns to point at Flynn in Sophie's body.
"You worry too much, it's not like we are at the house just yet," Flynn said just as he got his bearing on what he was ranting on about.
"Yeah but before that, I want to see you try and act like Sophie," he exclaimed.
"Come now 'Sophie'" Sophie said in Flynn's body. "We are about to be invited to his family's house, the least you can do is show a little of that passion and humour him for the day."
Andrew looking at Sophie in Flynn's body with genuine surprise at how convincing her act of Flynn's speech patterns was. Pointing at her as a shining example he glares at Flynn in an expecting manner.
By this point, they all stop some ways by the front door as to not alert his mother of his presence just yet. Sighing deeply he tries to rub a growing migraine he was getting since all this started to little avail.
"Look," he pushed out just before he was done rubbing his temples. "Just try and act like Sophie, I'm honestly not expecting much from you but if you can at least keep quite I don't think mum and my sister will notice."
Andrew was about to continue until he noticed that their attention was diverted to something behind him. Before he could even ask he heard a voice of Trisha call out to him.
"Won't notice what? That you decide to have a nice long chat by the door rather than knocking first? Or perhaps it's the sorry state that your clothes are in?"
Andrew turning around with a stiff upper neck put on a fake smile.
"H-hey mum," he said timidly.
