This chapter actually ended up really different from the original one. If you want to check out the original one, go ahead, but It's sadder than this one and might trigger people (That's why I made this version of the story too)

Josh woke up from his alarm clock. He groaned and stretched out. He turned his alarm clock off and rubbed his eyes with a small smile. He got dressed and raced downstairs. His mum had made pancakes for breakfast, but he was in a rush. When she wasn't looking, he quickly shoved some inside a plastic bag and put it in his schoolbag. "Bye mum!" He yelled as he kissed her cheek and ran out of the door. He had to pick up Tyler so he wouldn't sleep in. He smiled as he ran through the rain, he liked the rain. The cold wet drops of water dampened his hair and moisturized his face.

After around five minutes of running, he arrived at Tyler's house, panting. He fixed his hair and rang the doorbell. Tyler's dad opened the door, he seemed stressed out. "Hello, sir, I'm here to pick up Tyler, is he awake yet?" Josh asked cheerfully. Tyler's dad shook his head and Josh noticed the tears in his eyes. "Tyler.. isn't here.." He said. Josh frowned. "What do you mean?" Tyler's dad looked down and his shoulders started shaking. "H-He got mad yesterday.. A-And I can't find him anywhere.." Josh's thoughts went everywhere, he just hoped the worst case scenario wouldn't be true. Josh ran up the stairs and into Tyler's room. The room was empty, but on the bed was his black notebook. Josh picked it up and flicked through the pages. Most of them were song lyrics Tyler had written himself, but on the last pages were dark circles and lines. There was a small note underneath it. 'Don't come looking for me. I'm not coming back. It's better like this.' Josh cursed and searched for any clues as to where Tyler could have gone. He found something on his desk. Train tickets. Multiple of them, to make a big journey. The journey was pretty close by, Josh hoped he would get there in time.

"I've got two faces

Blurry's the one I'm not

I've got two faces

Blurry's the one I'm not

I need your help to

Take him out

I need your help to

Take him out.."

Tyler sang softly as he waited for the first train to arrive. He'd been waiting for a while and was relieved when he saw it coming. He looked at the edge of the platform. How easy would it be to just step forwards and end it all? He shook his head. Not today. Today he would start a new life. On his own. He opened his bag to get the first ticket and frowned. No.. This couldn't be happening. His tickets weren't in his bag.  He forgot to take the with him.. He forgot the fucking tickets! He groaned and thought. What could he do now?  He had a few options. He could buy new tickets.. But he didn't have much money left.. He could illegaly travel, without a ticket.. But he'd probably get caught.. He could go home and get the tickets.. But his dad would never let him go again... Lastly, he could jump... He shook his head again. No. He was not going to do that. The train came to a stop and he decided to take the risk. He stepped forward to get in and travel illegaly but he got pulled back by something.. someone.. He turned around and looked into Josh's chocolate brown eyes, filled with tears. "Tyler.." Josh whispered, pulling him away from the train. "J-Josh?" Tyler looked at Josh and back at the train. "I have to go, Josh.." He whispered.  Josh shook his head. "N-No..No!" He yelled, his voice breaking. "Please don't do this, Tyler.. Please stay.. " Tyler bit his lip and looked from the train that was about to leave to the crying boy in front of him. "I.. I only make people sad, Josh.. And I don't want to hurt anyone anymore.." Josh shook his head. "You don't make me sad, Tyler.." Tyler chuckled and sighed. "I will end up hurting you, Josh.." Josh wiped his tears away furiously. "I don't care, Tyler! I will help you to get rid of Blurry, to be happy!" People were staring and the train doors were about to close. "Tyler.. Please... Please.." Josh sniffled and looked at Tyler. "J-Josh I.." Josh shook his head. "I need you, Tyler!" Tyler sighed deeply and gave up. "Fine.." He whispered, stepping away from the train. He started walking. "Tyler, wait!" Josh ran after him and stopped him. "Hey, look at me. You're scared.. Scared of Blurry, and that you'll hurt someone again.. Instead of going home, please come with me and spend the day with a smile on your face.." Josh took Tyler's hands and smiled gently, looking into his eyes. Tyler's hands were shaking. "I-I don't know if I can.." He whispered. Josh nodded softly. "That's okay, you don't have to smile. But just come with me and let me try to help you, to make you smile." Tyler stepped closer and nodded softly. He leaned his head against Josh's chest, a few tears rolling down his cheeks. Josh kissed his head sweetly and wrapped his arms around the trembling boy. "It's okay.." He whispered. "It's okay.. Let's go home."

Josh carried Tyler, who'd fallen asleep in his arms, home and put him on the couch. He looked at him. He looked so small and fragile, broken. But Josh was going to make Tyler smile again. He promised himself that. And Tyler. Because Tyler deserved to be happy too, just like everyone else. Maybe even more than other people. The boy had been through so much, at his age. It wasn't fair. Josh kissed his cheek and walked out of the living room. "I'm going to fix you.." He promised.
