Tyler walked into the kitchen quietly. Josh had just finished making dinner and was putting everything on the dinner table. Tyler approached him shyly. He was wearing an oversized sweater and some jeans Josh had given him. He didn't know how he looked. He was too scared to look into a mirror. He was't so sure about his shower thoughts anymore. What if Josh thought he was hideous? "Had a nice shower?" Josh asked, putting the pan with spaghetti on the table. Tyler nodded softly as he sat down at the table. "It was pretty nice.." He whispered. He still had all his doubts going through his head but he tried to ignore them. He looked at the food. It looked nice and it smelled nice too. Josh put some on a plate for Tyler and sat down opposite of him. Tyler took a bite and smiled at Josh. "You're an amazing cook, I have no idea how those cookies failed whilst this didn't." Josh blushed and shrugged. "I guess I'm just better with dinner." They ate in silence and when they were done, they did the dishes in silence. It was a comfortable silence, but Tyler had a feeling Josh was thinking deeply about something. And he was. He was thinking about his feelings for Tyler and how to get rid of them. His parents didn't raise him to be weak like this.. He was supposed to marry a girl, get kids and take over the family business. Which he didn't want either.. When he was with Tyler.. He got a good feeling inside his head and his heart.. And he didn't want that feeling to ever go away. But he knew he wasn't allowed to have that feeling. And those thoughts.. Tyler's lips looked so kissable. But no. Josh couldn't allow himself to think such ridiculous thoughts. Tyler was a boy. And he was a boy too. Man shall not lay with another man. That's what the bible said. How would Josh be able to go to church this Sunday with these thoughts? He sighed softly and Tyler looked at him. He shook his head. "It's nothing.." He muttered. Tyler nodded and quietly started drying plates again.

"You can't catch me!" Josh yelled as he ran upstairs, into the attic. They were playing tag and Tyler was far behind. He wasn't as fast as Josh but he was in a decent shape.. Well, he told himself so. Josh brought the child out of Tyler and he really liked that. After the accident with Zack, Tyler didn't have a childhood anymore. He just stopped playing with his toys and threw them against the wall instead. He didn't make any friends, well besides from Blurry, and he didn't do what other children did. Play with toys. Have fun. But now he had Josh. And he allowed himself to play and to have fun. Tyler ran upstairs and saw the hatch to the attic close. He stood on his tippy toes (So smol) and opened it. The ladder thingy folded out and he climbed it. "Josh?" He called out. Of course, he got no response. "Josh where are you?" Still no answer. He huffed and started walking around the attic. "Joshua? Joshy?" He heard snickering right behind him and jumped up. But Josh jumped out and yelled 'BOO!' Tyler turned around and Josh jumped onto him. Tyler screamed in surprise. Josh started laughing and Tyler fell over onto the wooden floor with Josh on top of him. He looked up to him, blushing deeply. Josh panicked slightly. This always happened in movies.. And he knew what was going to come next.. He leaned down, closing his eyes. Tyler's eyes widened but he knew what to do. He'd seen a lot of movies.. He put his hand behind Josh's head, pulling his face closer to his own. They were about to kiss. Tyler was going to get his first kiss. If it hadn't been for the doorbell ringing right at that moment. It scared both of them. Josh quickly got up and ran downstairs. Tyler was left breathlessly. Not because they'd kissed, unfortunately. But because he was really nervous and anxious. What if this opportunity would never come up again..?

Josh opened the door and hugged his mum and then his dad. "Welcome back home, I hope you had a nice trip." He smiled brightly. Josh had an amazing bond with his parents. Tyler walked downstairs slowly and saw them. Something inside him got really jealous. But he pushed his jealous away and stepped forwards. He waited for Josh's parents to come inside before introducing himself. They smiled sweetly and introduced themselves to him. Josh stood beside Tyler with a smile. "Tyler has had some trouble at home and I was wondering if he could stay with us for a while.." Josh asked his parents with the cutest smile Tyler had ever seen. And how could they say no to him? He was the perfect son and they were the perfect parents. Tyler felt his jealousy grow. But he didn't say anything. He just smiled softly and thanked them politely. Josh's parents told Josh about their trip and how amazing it was. Tyler listened halfheartedly and just got more jealous. Especially when they promised to take Josh to France too one day. His eyes flashed red but nobody saw. "Maybe Tyler could come with us." Josh offered. That seemed to calm Tyler down. But something inside him didn't want to calm down, wanted to throw a fit. Why did Josh have such amazing parents? What was so special about him? Why did he deserve it? And why didn't Tyler?

"What's on your mind?" Josh asked. Josh was laying on his bed and Tyler was laying on a mattress next to the bed. Tyler didn't reply. He was too deep in thoughts. He was thinking about Josh again. Everything was just so complicated.. He really wanted to know what Josh would say if he told him about his thoughts. But would he tell him what he thought he would? Maybe he would laugh.. maybe he would just confirm Tyler's bad thoughts. Tyler was scared. Too scared. He looked up at Josh, who was looking at him. And he just burst into tears. He couldn't help it. The happy things that had happened the past two days, had just suppressed the sad things and thoughts. They hadn't destroyed them. They'd only hid them more, further away, deeper down. But now, Tyler was in silence with his thoughts. And they came back up. Josh shot up in his bed as soon as he heard Tyler's sobs and saw his shoulders shake. He got out of his bed and sat down behind Tyler, pulling him into his arms. "It's okay, Tyler.." He whispered. He didn't say anything else. Sometimes you just have to hold someone and try to get them to calm down instead of trying to force them into telling you what's wrong. So that's what Josh did. He just held Tyler until he fell asleep.
