I feel so bad about how sad this story is Oml... Going to Dutch Comic Con this weekend lolol
Tyler woke up in a white room, a bright light shining in his eyes. He blinked and tried to move, but didn't seem able to. What was happening? Why couldn't he move? He looked around the room and saw monitors beside his bed. He looked at both of his arms. One was filled with tubes. He cast his eyes away. Why was nobody there? Didn't anyone care? Of course they didn't. Josh was mad at him and his dad didn't even know where he was or had been. The door opened and Someone walked in. It was a blonde nurse, she seemed really friendly. "Good morning, Tyler." She said cheerfully. Tyler looked over her. She seemed to be in her twenties, she was pretty beautiful. Her name tag read Jenna. She walked to his bed and looked at some of the monitors and through her papers. Tyler was going to ask her why he was there, but his mouth didn't move. It couldn't move. She looked at his arm and sighed softly. "It seems like you've been through some rough times... I'm sorry to hear that." She replaced some of the medicine and gave him a gentle smile. He wanted to talk to her, to ask her many questions. But he couldn't. "I really hope you do wake up." She said gently. "You're the worst case we've had here, your whole screen was cracked. But that doesn't mean you should lose hope. You have to stay determined." She gave him a sweet smile. What was that supposed to mean? Wake up? He was already awake, right? He tried to move once again but his body wouldn't bulge. Wake me up. He tried to tell her with his mind. Wake me up inside. But she didn't hear him and left the room. Tyler was left all alone with his thoughts and only the ceiling to stare at. He couldn't see his screen but according to the nurse it was really bad. He wished he'd just died instead. Or at least that his screen would just work normally like it did for everyone else. But he knew the last option wasn't going to happen. His screen was broken, just like he was. He closed his eyes and tried to focus. Focus on nothing. Focus on giving up.
5 more minutes until his father would come home. Josh was pacing around the living room. He felt awful and one of His hands was bleeding because he had punched a wall out of frustration. He felt awful for what he'd Said to Tyler. He wasn't thinking clear and he'd hurt Tyler. He wanted to make it up to him but he had to deal with his father first. The Door opened the same time as Josh's phone rang. He picked it up as his father walked in and smiled at him. At least he was in a good mood... "Is this Josh?' A voice asked on the other side of the phone. "This is Josh, who am I speaking to?" He asked politely. "This is Doctor Way, I found your number in Tyler Joseph's phone." Josh frowned slightly. He kept an eye on his dad who was just putting his coat and shoes away. "Tyler? Why do you have his phone?" Josh tried not to come over as a rude person. "He's in the Screen hospital, we found him in the forest." Josh froze and his eyes widened. Tyler was in the screen hospital? The screen hospital was different from the normal hospital. It focused on errors and damage on screen rather than bodies. But Tyler's screen had been broken all his life. Why was he in the hospital now? Maybe he tripped and fell on his screen, maybe he got hit by a car. "Mr Joseph is in a coma." Doctor Way said. Josh almost dropped his phone. His father rushed to his side as he saw his screen show a heart breaking into pieces. "Josh, what's wrong?" Tears filled Josh's eyes. "I'll be right there." He told the doctor before ending the call. He looked at his dad and just more tears fell. "Tyler.." He whispered. His dad pulled him into a hug which only made him feel extremely guilty. He was shaking and didn't know what to say. He managed to pull away from the hug. "I-I'm going to the hospital.. T-there's spaghetti in the freezer and a letter on the table.. I-I don't know when I'll be back.." His dad nodded and let him. He knew not to hold him back when he was sad. Josh put on his shoes and his jacket and opened the door. The screen hospital wasn't too far away, so he ran all the way there. By the time he got there his lungs were burning but he didn't care. Tyler was in a coma, most likely because of him.
Josh walked up to the counter and looked at the woman behind it. He was breathing heavily. "T-Tyler Joseph.." He said, trying to catch his breath. The woman looked through her computer and typed in some stuff. "I'm sorry sir, but he isn't allowed to have visitors." The woman told him. Josh turned around, defeated, and sat down on a chair. His shoulders were shaking as he sobbed into his hands. It was all his fault. If he hadn't yelled at Tyler he wouldn't have left and wouldn't have been in a coma. "Josh?" A voice asked. Josh wiped some of his tears away to clear his vision and looked up. He was a mess. "I'm Doctor Way." A man from around 20, 30ish told him. He shook his hand. "T-They won't let me see him.." He whispered. His voice was broken. The doctor nodded and looked through his papers. "Follow me, I'll take you to him." Josh got up and gave him a thankful look. He couldn't get himself to smile. Why would he? His mom was dead and Tyler was in a coma. He followed the doctor through the hallways to a white door. 21 it said. He took a deep breath before opening the door. He was met by a heartbreaking sight. Tyler was laying in a bed, connected to all sorts of machines. His screen was so damaged it brought new tears to Josh's eyes. "Tyler.." He whispered. "I'm so sorry.." The doctor left the room quietly to give Josh some privacy. He sat down next to Tyler's bed and took his hand. "I-I didn't mean any of it, Tyler.. My mom just meant a lot to me and for Blurry to do that to her.. It just hurt.. A lot.. I knew it wasn't you. And you're not useless at all." He squeezed his hand, hot tears rolling down his cheeks as he looked at Tyler, laying there motionlessly. "Please wake up Tyler... For me..."
