It's 22nd of March. RIP MCR T_T
The next few hours went by in a blur. Josh did what had to be done, as if he was on autopilot. He threw their clothes in the trashcan and put the trash outside. His shirt couldn't be saved anymore. He washed the butcher knife Tyler had used and put it back with the other knives in the kitchen. He put his parents' bedsheets in the laundry and turned it on. He cleansed the carpet underneath their bed until his hands were red from all the scrubbing. With the help of Tyler, he got rid of his mother's body. It hurt him. A lot. But he couldn't let his dad know what happened. He'd call the cops and let Tyler be thrown in jail. Josh couldn't allow that. He couldn't hurt his dad like that. When he was done, there was no way to tell that there had been a murder. But the house was quiet and felt empty. His mom was gone. It was around 5 and his dad would come home in an hour. Josh was pacing around the room whilst Tyler was sitting in a corner with his knees pulled up to his chest. His dad would certainly notice his mom's absence. So Josh had to come up with an excuse. He couldn't tell his dad that she was dead.. He'd hire a detective.. And he'd ask where the body was.So many different scenarios went through Josh's head as he did what had to be done. At last, he decided to solve it in a different way. This would still hurt his dad, but less as when he would tell him the truth.
'For a few weeks now, I've been thinking deeply. About everything. About my life here with the both of you. About my career. And I've finally made a decision. I'm leaving and I won't return. This is not because of either of you. I love both of you with whole my heart. Other people would consider us a perfect family. But I'm just not happy like this. I want to go into the wide world, explore. I'm sorry. But this is for the best. Please don't be sad because of me. This Is the best for all of us.
Goodbye.
xx'
Josh blinked His upcoming tears away. This was for the best. His dad wouldn't look for her and wouldn't know she was actually dead. He sat down on the couch and tried to gather motivation to just do something so he wouldn't have to think. He was just afraid, maybe terrified even as to how his father would react. Would he cry? Scream? Worse? Josh hoped he wouldn't start drinking again... Before his dad met his mom, he was an alcoholic. He hadn't had a single alcoholic drink in over 20 years. Josh hoped he wouldn't throw all of that away. Tyler was sitting next to him, the letter on the table in front of them. "Josh.." Josh shook his head. He wasn't ready to talk to him. Whenever he saw his eyes, one brown and one red, he was scared he would hurt him. Josh was going to help him better than before. Earlier methods didn't seem to help. He'd just have to find a new method and succeed. "Josh.." Josh shook his head again. "Josh I-" Josh got up and glared at Tyler with a hatred he had never felt before. "Shut up, just shut the fuck up!" He screamed. "You just killed my fucking mom! There's no excuse for that!" The anger had taken him over. He couldn't think clear. He knew it wasn't Tyler's fault. It was Blurry's. But right now, he just seemed to have forgotten that. "I tried to help you, I tried everything I could and still this happens every fucking time! You get mad, hurt someone and just cry like the weakling you are! My mom loved me, unlike yours! It's not my fault that your life isn't perfect, unlike mine, that doesn't mean you can just ruin mine! I truly tried to help you, but I don't know anymore! You're just so fucking useless Tyler..." Tyler stared at Josh and tried not to cry. Josh was right. He was useless. He nodded softly. "You're right.." He whispered as he got up. "I am useless.. I'll stop hurting you now.." He walked to the door. Josh went pale and cursed. "Tyler, I didn't mean to..." Tyler shook his head. "No. You're right." He walked outside and closed the door behind him, softly. Josh wished he'd slammed it. That he'd yelled back at him. But he'd just quietly left. Josh felt like Shit. He'd yelled at Tyler... He'd called him useless. Tyler wasn't the useless person. Josh was...
Tyler walked and walked and walked. Hot tears rolled down his cheeks, his shoulders were shaking. He felt awful. He was an awful person. He'd killed Josh's mom and ruined his life. He was useless. Josh was right. He was useless and he should just die. Josh should've hit him. He deserved it. Tyler wished he had. It would've hurt less than the words he used. He'd been called useless before. But coming from Josh it was way worse... His screen was flickering again and it was getting on his nerves. He closed his eyes and just ran the rest of the way to the forest. He walked to his tree and kicked it. Stupid tree. It just stood there all day, not doing anything. It was useless. Just like him. Tyler shook his head. The tree wasn't useless. It provided oxygen. He was the only truly useless one. He reached inside the hole in the tree and got his knife out. His screen was flickering like crazy. "Stop it.. Just stop it!" He took the knife and stabbed. He stabbed the screen, over and over again. There were now multiple cracks covering the surface and some holes. He felt an electric shock shoot through his body. His vision became blurry. He heard footsteps, but couldn't see who was approaching before his head hit the ground.
