NICO'S POV
Leo looked at me in confusion. Oh gods what did I just do!? I'm so stupid! To my surprise, after an exchange of glances, Leo finally kissed me. I kissed back instantly. You know in those cheesy movies and books and junk where they talk about those 'sparks'? Well... I don't mean to sound cliché, but I definitely felt those sparks. I think Leo did too. We kissed for about a minute when someone bursted in the door. Oh gods of Olympus this wasn't good. "What the hell?" A male voice said. A tall, pale boy with blonde hair stepped forward. The voice belonged to Octavian, who I knew was definitely a homophobic. His lips curled up into a smirk. "Ah... So we have some gays at camp... Shocker for you, Valdez. Di Angelo.... Not so much." Octavian sneered. I replied with a growl. "Too bad you're both to scrawny and weak to help yourselves." In that moment, Octavian started kicking and punching Leo in a rhythmic motion. I couldn't stand watching Leo get hurt. "Fuck off Octavian!" I said harshly. I knew I was starting that 'death radiation' thing. He hesitated for a moment, but continued to kick and punch. "I said... FUCK OFF!" With those words, I accidentally summoned an army of skeletons. Oops. Octavian was instantly overwhelmed. "Make it stop! Make it stop!" Octavian screeched like a little girl (or if you prefer, a fangirl dealing with feels). "Do you promise on the River Styx to never hurt Leo again?" I growled. "Yes! Yes! I promise! I swear on the River Styx to never hurt Leo again." I returned the skeletal army to the depths of the Underworld. Octavian scurried away quickly. My eyes dotted over to an extremely hurt Leo. "Oh gods!" I ran over to him, and examined him throughly. I sighed and scooped him up bridal style. "C'mon Leo, let's get you to the infirmary."
