Excuse the mistakes.
Gasping for air, Aja popped her head from the bath and knocked the champagne flute cutting her hand. She held her head down coughing as her chest heaved in and out. The blood trickled into the water alarming her. "Fuck!" Aja shouted annoyed with herself. She hissed at the wound quickly applying pressure with a dry washcloth.
"I just need to get the fuck out of the tub before anything else happens tonight." She said to herself.
After getting the proper medical supplies from the hotel gift shop along with souvenirs for the kids and Joanne, Aja made her way back to the room safely.
Room service had come in and clean up the shattered glass and left a note behind regarding Kyrie's phone calls. They suggested that she'd give her family a call to reassure that she was indeed sleeping. Before she could, the pain from her hand reminded her to take care of the wound.
Aja examined her hand before going any further. There were no pieces of glass in the wound or surrounding areas. She made sure to clean the wound thoroughly then applied the antiseptic. If there was ever a time she needed Kyrie's help, now would be perfect. Aja wrapped an ace bandage around her hand and returned back to the bedroom.
The room phone rang loudly, as she drew the covers back continuing to ignore the ringing device until it stopped. Aja placed her ear plugs in and got into bed.
What happened to us, we were happy and we kept everything up front with one another. Now, we're barely speaking to each other... had I not woken up then Kyrie would have blamed himself for my actions. He would have had to explain to our children that I was unhappy with the way our relationship and I needed a way out. We have to fix this before it gets worse than it already is. Aja thought drifting off to sleep.
Vibrations from her phone woke her. She groaned blocking the sun from coming in her eyes. It was clearly morning due to the blinding sun, today was also, the day she would be returning home and reunited with her children.
Aja removed the ear plugs from her ears and saw a short figure moving throughout her suite. She shuffled with the sheets to get her attention. The woman looked over her shoulder and smiled widely.
"Good morning, Senorita Irving. Would you like your breakfast?" An older woman greeted wiping the glass table.
"Good morning ma'am. No thank you but by any chance could you close the blinds, they're blinding me."
"Sorry mama, I close them for you and everything is all clean." Aja nodded getting up from the bed as she stood her phone continued to vibrate.
"Thank you." She walked her to the door and handed her a generous tip thanking her once more then ran to answer the call. Stink
"Good morning-"
"SASHA! MOMMY FINALLY ANSWERED THE PHONE! HI, MOMMY, WHEN ARE YOU COMING HOME, I MISS YOU." Kendall shouted cutting her off.
Aja laughed pulling the phone from her ear.
"Baby, if you yell any louder you'll blow mommy's ear drum out," Kendall snickered. "And I miss you too. I'll be home before your bedtime, okay? Let me talk to Sasha for a minute."
"Hi, Momma." Sasha yawned.
"Hey, pretty girl, did you go to bed on time last night?"
"I tried to but I stayed up with Daddy last night because he couldn't sleep, he thought something happened to you. Are you okay mommy?"
Aja bit her lip and nodded. "Yeah, baby I'm fine. I'm sorry for not answering your calls mommy was really tired last night but when I get home we do whatever you guys want, okay?" Aja picked out a few items from her bag.
