The flight back home was a long and exhausting one for Kyrie, he tried on more than one attempt to speak with Aja before leaving but, of course, she wouldn't respond. He even left messages with James for her. The driver pulled into Kyrie's neighborhood as he slept in the backseat.

"Sir, we're here," The driver announced while turning the car off and got the rest of Kyrie's things from the trunk.

He cleared his throat and gathered his belongings. "Thanks, man." Kyrie grabbed his bag and tipped him.

He watched as the car drove back down the street until it disappeared. The front door swung open with Zeek running out before the kids could.

"Hey, Zeek."

"DADDY!!!" Kendall and Sasha shouted shoving Zeek aside.

"Hey, daddy's babies." Kyrie covered their faces in kisses.

"We missed you." Sasha giggled as he tickled her tummy.

Joanne smiled lightly watching them greet her son. She rose her brow as he made eye contact with her. It was always something in his eye that told her all she needed to know.

"I missed y'all too." He closed his eyes squeezing them as they hugged.

"I thought you said mommy was coming back with you, where is she?" Kendall wiggled out of his embrace looking for his mother.

"She had some extra work to do on set and probably won't be back until sometime tomorrow." Kendall folded his arms and began to tear up. "Come here baby," Joanne called out.

Sasha played with a blade of grass letting Kendall's cries fade before she spoke.

Kyrie sighed. "Daddy, is Mommy ever coming back?" Sasha asked looking into his eyes.

There was an ounce of hope that Aja would make an appearance tonight but Kyrie knew she still had to work on the movie. He looked out to the gray skies then back at Sasha.

I can't lie to my baby girl, she can see right through all my bullshit. He thought.

"I hope so, Stink." He kissed her forehead. "I hope so,"

The final shots of Cocoa had finally gotten captured before daylight while everyone was on their way to the nearest bar to celebrate, Aja headed up to her room to pack. Her spirit couldn't take how things ended with Kyrie but she knew that being away from him wasn't going to help either. She checked her eyes before getting off of the elevator, sure enough, they were puffy and red.

"Hey, Aja," James said with bags of food in his hands.

Aja pulled out of her keycard and turned to him with shades covering her eyes.

"James, I'm really not in the mood for any company tonight, I just want to sleep, okay?" She turned back opening and closing the door before he could convince her otherwise.

Aja hadn't bothered to turn on the lights or the television like she said all she wanted was to sleep. Her phone vibrated in her pocket. Kendall. She smiled at the thought of her kids wanting to talk but right now wasn't the right time. In no way, did she want to neglect her children's needs but, Aja was barely holding it together.

"I'll call back later."

Wasting no time at all, Aja stripped down and grabbed her small travel bag with her bath salt, candles, and hygiene products. She turned the water on and sat on the edge of the tub while lighting a few candles. It was something about the smell of lavender scented candles that made her relax in stressful situations, alcohol included. An ice bucket sat not too far from the bath almost teasing her.

"Just one glass for me," She popped the bottle of Bartenura Moscato and poured herself a glass.

Aja slowly sat in the bathtub with the glass in hand, her body tingled as the water hit each sore spot. The combination of the eucalyptus and vanilla bath salt eased some of the aching. She sighed regretting not having her husband to relieve the pain.

"Oh, my goodness, everything hurts," Aja whined as her feet hit the warm water.

She sipped a little of the Moscato and placed the champagne flute aside then lowered body in the bath.

Her eyes grew heavy as the warmth of the warm soothed every aching part of her body. Aja's eyes closed unexpectedly while her body slowly sunk into the tub. Water inched up to her lips creating bubbles.

"Daddy, Kendall is sleeping on the stairs again and Nana fell asleep on the couch," Sasha informed as Kyrie spoke with the hotel manager where Aja was staying.

"Hold baby girl," She nodded and waited for him to end his call.

"Sorry, Mr. Irving but you wife has requested that we decline any calls or messages going to her room." The woman voice in an irritable tone.

"Our children have been trying to reach her all day, can you at least have someone go check on her?"

"It's my job to respect the demands set by each person staying in this hotel, Mr. Irving, and your wife specified that she wanted no calls from anyone. Please respect her wishes."

"Ms.Georgia, I've trying to contact her directly and- just please have someone check on her." Kyrie didn't know what happened but he knew something wasn't right. Despite everything the last few hours she was still his forever and a day.

"I'll send someone up right away but, the next time you call, I will block the number in our system." He exhaled and thanked God.

A few minutes had gone by as Kyrie waited for a response. He drummed on the top of his stapler and looked over at Sasha playing with his rubber band ball.

"Mr. Irving, your wife is fine. I was informed that she was in bed around the time you call and also, she wishes for you to get her little space for the time being."

"Thank you, Ms. Georgia and I apologize-" She cut him off by hanging up in his face.

Rude ass. He chuckled walking over to Sasha. "You wanna go pull a prank on Nana?" She nodded jumping from the floor.
