Kyrie placed on his hoodie before leaving out of his Toronto hotel room. He had yet to inform his teammates and Coach about the current situation. Frankly, there was no need too. This was no different than the last, and Kyrie was willing to risk his life, career, and whatever it took to keep Aja safe. It wasn't going to take the help family and friends to get his baby back. He had to do this alone.
He continued to listened in on the ongoing conversation between Aja and James. As much as Kyrie wanted to chime in he knew that would create more of an issue. He remained quiet while saying a silent prayer for his wife, their baby and Zeek.
I'm coming to save you, Aja. He thought.

"I was in the neighborhood and saw your car here so, I decided to say hi." Aja swallowed nervously. "But you don't look so happy to see me, why is that?" The heavy smell of alcohol filled Aja's nostrils.
"You need to get out of my house." She felt the pit of her stomach turn.
He drew closer. "What if I say no then what? What exactly will you do to get me out?" Still keeping her distance Aja brushed her hands on the back of Zeek's collar.
Shit. My blade is gone. She thought.
"Don't you understand we belong together, you cried on my shoulders when you and that fuckboy hurt you. Let's not forget all the flirting you were doing when he wasn't around, I have the pictures to proof it."
"James, you're a sick minded individual and you need help. WE don't have any relationship nor flirted with each other that was all in you mind. Now, would you please get the fuck out of my house before I release this well-trained Great Dane on you ass.
"For the last time, I. AM. NOT. GOING. ANYWHERE." James shot back inching towards her.
Zeek growled loudly with saliva foaming from the corners of his mouth. The grip of Aja's hand loosened a little around his thick collar. James smirked wickedly as he removed the gun from his waist making Aja let go immediately.
She ran directly into the hallway headed for the staircase when she heard shots ringing from her bedroom. Her heart broke at the sound of Zeek's cries.
He hurt my fucking dog.
With her hand under her growing belly, Aja jogged back towards her bedroom empty handed. She was scared yet prepared for anything. Aja was tired of not standing up for herself in situations of this nature, it place her in a space that was has to come out of. Depression. A downward spiral of depression that didn't need to be revisited, again.
Her eyes followed the trail of blood leading to where Zeek laid in a struggle to breath then to James with his gun pointed at her. Aja fearlessly stepped over Zeek and walked towards him, never breaking eye contact.
Heavenly father, whatever is the outcome of this situation make sure that my kids and husband will understand that everything I do in this moment was for them. Help them understand that I had to do this...
Aja stepped forward into James' space and spoke. "James, If you get my dog to the vet, I'll go with you to the Bahamas."
"No. we're leaving the dog and your leaving your family too." She nodded.
Deep down, Aja wanted to curse, scream and fight but she had to think about her baby. Kyrie's baby growing inside of her. She didn't want to risk losing her life or the baby's by upsetting James.
"Can I at least say goodb-"
"We don't have that kind of time. My car is downstairs let's go." Snatching her by the wrist, James pulled her out of the bedroom.
"James, please." Aja said blinking away her tears.
A stern look on his face was all he delivered to shut her up.

Rushing off of the plane, Kyrie brushed through the aisles where the passengers stood moving slower than molasses. He wanted to scream in ranged when he was stopped by a young pregnant woman and her boyfriend fighting over what bag to carry.
"Excuse me, I need to get by." Kyrie said nicely.
The couple continued to bicker while Kyrie stood in frustration. He took the bag from the lady's hands and handed it over to her boyfriend.
"As the man you're supposed to carry it, not complain about the weight of the bag besides she's about to have your baby-have show her some damn respect." Kyrie said with a hint of annoyance.
The young man looked at his girlfriend with apologetic eyes as they made enough room for Kyrie to pass. He wasted no time rushing off of the plane and towards the nearest exit.

The airport seemed a lot more crowded than usual, Aja's eyes scanned the packed room. She saw people all scattered around with their luggage and greeting signs. Her eyes began to water at the thought of not being able to be with her family. There was no telling if she'd ever see them again. James grabbed a hold of her arm guiding her to their terminal.
"Don't even think about doing anything stupid, you hear me?" The cold steel of the gun nudged her side.
Aja nodded quietly. She didn't even know how James got his gun through security but knowing him, he always had away.
"All boarding flight 1170!" James sped up his pace which made her almost trip over herself.
"Let's go. We don't have time to be late for our flight." He snapped dragging her along.
Walking up to their terminal, Aja caught a whiff of a familiar scent before she could turn to see if her nostrils were giving her false hope James greeted the ticket attendant. "I hope you both have a splendid time on your honeymoon and make beautiful babies." The ticket attendant winked. Aja cringed at the thought of being with anyone beside Kyrie.
"We're working on it. Isn't that right baby?" James responded kissing Aja's cheek.
"Mhm."Aja smiled lightly holding down the urge the vomit.
"Thanks Theresa. We'll see you soon." Slipping her some cash in a clip, James grabbed a hold of Aja's hand leading her through the door.

Swiftly moving to the opposite side of the airport, Kyrie skipped the line of other's at a terminal. He'd ran throughout the airport trying to find Aja, who hopes of bringing her home. He panted holding up his finger. The ticket attendant stepped aside and had someone take her place so that she could assist Kyrie.
"Is there a problem, sir? Did you miss your flight or do you need medical attention?" She asked. Kyrie shook his head and rose his phone up.
"I'm tr-trying to find my wife." She eyed the picture for a moment then looked back up at him.
"Um hold on really quick I haven't seen her before but I'm sure Theresa can help you that she's knows everyone that comes in and out of here. I'll send her over to you." Kyrie wiped his forehead of sweat and watched the attendant walk towards the roped off area where Theresa stood.
Today's Mood:
