Today was a busy day at the cafe. It was summer and I don't know why many people liked to hangout in a place like this. College kids who were in a break kept going in and out at the place causing the crew to move around and work hard.

Jisoo is in the counter, Jimin and Jin hyung preparing orders and I walk around the place to clean and arrange tables for new customers.

I was busy collecting empty cups of coffee when I heard the door open. I look back to greet the customer a 'welcome to bittersweet!' But was cut off because the 'customer' backhugged me.

Moments later that I realized that it was my boyfriend.

"I want caramel macchiato with kookies please." He whispered to my ear.

I blushed a dark crimson and gently slapped his hands around my waist.

"Tae, I'm at work. People are looking!"

He slowly unwrapped his arms and just gave me a sheepish smile before walking to 'our seat'.

I prepared his order and went back to work. He was once again working something in his laptop and we snatch glances with each other from time to time.

After some time, I got my break and quickly plopped down on the seat next to Taehyung. He quickly closed the laptop and a frown made visible on my face.

"What was that?" I questioned.

"Oh nothing to be interested about kookie." He answered and sipped his drink.

"But I'm interested. I wanna see"

"No"

I slumped in my chair and didn't talk anymore. Taehyung heaved a sigh.

"At least not yet." He said softly and held my hand in his. "I still need to be sure of this."

"But why can't you tell me? I'm your boyfriend!" I whined. And added a soft "is it?"

"Of course you are but..oh well." He let out a deep breath. "Alright I'm applying for a job."

"But you already have a job."

"Yeah but this one is an opportunity I just can't take down." He went to sip in his drink again. "A magazine company saw my potential of being a professional photographer in my blog so they want to try me."

Oh the blog. That's why. I slept late last night browsing his blog and it would really catch attention from studio companies. He really has a talent in art.

"But why didn't you tell me?"

He was pondering at what he was going to say next. But he looked disturbed. "Look, I can't tell you the details for now. But I will when I'm sure."

I slowly nodded even though I wasn't yet satisfied by it. I believe he would tell me everything in the future. At least for now, my assumption of him applying for a job was confirmed. "Okay I understand. I'm happy for you though."

He gave my hand a squeeze and smiled. We sat there and talk about random things for a couple of minutes until my break time was over and went back to work again.

The door opened again and entered a couple. It was seconds before I recognized the girl is Irene and the guy he was with I believe is Hoseok. I instinctively look at Taehyung but his eyes were still glued to his laptop screen.

I didn't bring myself to greet them a 'welcome to bittersweet', but Jimin did. I don't feel like greeting them at all. After having their orders, Irene went to sit at a vacant table and Hoseok went for the rest room. That's right, sit far away from Tae.

I was quite relieved now that they haven't seen each other yet so I went back to concentrate on my work on refilling ingredient containers.

Suddenly, I heard a "Tae?" in a girl's voice. I snap my head to their direction and surely, Irene is now sitting on the seat across Taehyung.

They were chatting quietly that's why I can't hear anything. I went to the nearby tables and pretended I was cleaning them.

"Why are you here though?" Irene asked him.

"I can't sit at a cafe now?" Taehyung said in sarcasm.

"I'm just wondering. You always work in your studio, you never bring your work outside."

There she is again. Like she knows everything about him. Tsk.

I never would've thought that they will hear the clicking of my tongue, but Taehyung did.

"My boyfriend works here and I'm waiting for him." Taehyung deadpanned.

Irene turned to see me and let out a small "oh". Like she was really surprised to see me there.

Hoseok went back from the rest room and was shook when he saw Irene with Tae. He stood there awkwardly at first not knowing what to say.

Taehyung decided to talk first. "She seemed a bit lost." He said referring to Irene.

Hoseok snapped from his trance and grabbed the girl's hand. "Oh uh yeah. We're going."

"Yah Kim Taehyung I was just talking to you. I'm not lost!" Irene protested.

Taehyung just chuckled. "Keep her within your boundaries horsey. She might run away."

"Alright I will- wait did you just call me a horse you little.."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow like he was trying to say 'did you forget we're not in good terms.'

So Hoseok dragged Irene towards the door, but before they exit, Hoseok said something that made us smile.

"Glad we're talking again Taehyung-ah."
