A.N: Alright, so originally this was it's own separate story, but I'm still in the middle of writing another one-shot so I figured this was something else I could post. I also wrote a septiplier Valentine's day fic, so if that's another thing you may like, go ahead and check it out. Thankies! ^^

Daryl glanced at his calender in drowsiness. Rubbing his eyes, he dragged himself out of bed. "Well shit. Time already?" Daryl turned on his phone as a few notifications popped up. New videos to watch on YouTube, daily memos, and most importantly, a text from his boyfriend, Rick.
The text read:
"Hey love, Happy Valentine's Day!"
Daryl smirked.
Daryl: Anything else?
Rick: Nope.
Daryl: Spit it
Rick: ...
Daryl: Please?
Rick: Daryl Dixon? Saying please? I can't believe my eyes.
Daryl: I WILL SNAP YOUR NECK
Rick: Hahahahaha! Alright, alright. I'll tell ya.

Daryl waited a few moments, then a ding sounded from his phone.
Rick: Go to the park 2 miles away from your house, you'll find a little surprise there.
Daryl stared at his phone in suspicion.
Daryl: Why?
Rick: I already said why. Now just do it...please.
Daryl: Look who's saying please now.
No reply.
Daryl didn't waste any time, he got dressed, grabbed his cup of coffee, and flew out the door. Since his boss was on a anniversary-gateway, there was no work. When Daryl arrived at his destination, he parked his car and walked down the quiet alleyway that led to the park.
Looking around, Daryl didn't see anything in particular. Then he saw someone waving at him. "Carl!" Daryl called. Carl grinned as he ran over to him.
"Hey." Carl greeted as he gave Daryl a hug. "Where's yer dad?" Carl smiled as he handed Daryl a box of chocolates. Daryl quickly smiled and Carl was quick enough to catch it.

"He's running some errands right now." Carl explained. "So he wanted me to come here to give you this."

"Never knew you were his own little mailman." Daryl joked.
"Eh." Carl shrugged. "Ya get used to it."
Daryl snorted. "Right."
"So we goin home?" Carl questioned while Daryl raised an eyebrow.
"What?"
Carl smirked as he dangled keys in front of him. Spare keys. "I stole them when my dad wasn't looking. It's better than giving you the gift, then walking back home only to find the door is still locked. Dad said he'd be home again before me but we all know how he is." Daryl shook his head while a small laugh escaped his lips. "You sneaky little devil."

Carl beamed then turned to walk down the cement path that was the main exit of the park.
"Aye, car's over there." Daryl called as he pointed towards the opposite direction. At this, Carl made a face.

"I dunno Daryl, I've heard that the alleyways were dangerous. Haven't you heard of the crimes that have taken place there?" Daryl gave his boyfriend's son a sarcastic look. "I just walked through there just a few minutes ago and look, I'm still fine. Besides, guess what crimes rhymes with?" Carl's eyes gleamed with mischief. "Grimes." He answered. Daryl smirked. "Right ya are." Daryl beckoned towards his direction again. "Let's go." Carl nodded and raced after him.
-------------
While they were walking down the huge long alleyway, Carl took some money out of his pocket. "Hey, we should go buy something. My treat." Daryl sighed. "Don't tell me you stole money from yer dad, too." Carl shook his head. "Nah, I'm not that evil." Daryl shrugged. "Well as long as you're okay with-"

Screams pounded at his ears as Daryl turned but was only greeted with a fist to the face. Daryl blindly swung back in anger and confusion but missed miserably. His arm was pulled forward and his body was forcefully pushed to the ground. "Daryl!" Carl wailed. Daryl looked up to see him wrestling out of another man's grip but Carl was losing the fight.

Both of the culprits faces were covered But for sure Carl was being attacked by a man, and Daryl?

Daryl looked up to see who his captor was. And by the looks of the chest, a female. But damn was she really strong for a woman. Daryl's attention was turned back to sobs.
