Rickyl-Smile for me, please!

It was a hot summer day in Alexandria. The Sun's harsh rays of light were beating down hard on everyone's backs. There was nothing enjoyable about this.

This wasn't the hot summer day where everybody's enjoying a barbeque, a day by the pool, or just hanging out with each other and having a good time.

But now of you do that, you'll most likely end up dead.

Daryl wiped the sweat off his forehead as he plopped himself down on his motorcycle.

As he was getting ready to speed off, Rick stepped in front of him.

"Do you mind?" Daryl mumbled.

Rick nodded.
"I do."

Daryl wanted to snap at Rick and threaten to run his ass over if he didn't get out of the way, but Rick could be terrifying of you push his buttons. Especially in this sweltering heat.

Still sitting on his motorcycle, Daryl leaned over folding his arms over each other propped up against the handles.

He waited and listened for Rick's question.

"Where ya off to?"

"Out just to be out. Maybe huntin' for somethin' if I find it."

Rick nodded staring at the sour expression Daryl had pinned on his face.

Rick pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed.
"Ya can't keep doin' this, Daryl."

"Doin' what!? I ain't doin' nothin' wrong!" Daryl hollered.

Rick walked closer to him, his footsteps quick and heavy. And each step he took made Daryl feel more and more like a defenseless child.

Putting a hand on his hip, Rick raised an eyebrow looking disaprovingly at Daryl.

Daryl still wasn't sure how to react when Rick used his two index fingers to pull the ends of Daryl's lips into a forced smile.

Daryl was confused when Rick's eyes turned soft and he let him go.

"Smile for me more often, alright Daryl?"

From that moment on, whenever Rick was talking to someone else, eating dinner with the family, or even just a brief glance, Daryl would let up the faintest smile.

It switched from back to back, man to man, Rick to Daryl, and Daryl to Rick.

That's when they came to realise that smiling was contagious.

I decided to write a short quick chapter for this smallish one shot. This time no kissing or anything like that. More of brotherly love and all, but I still ship it hard core 😛 also, if you have an idea, please let me know and I'll try my hardest to write it out!
