After the delicious dinner the others and I were called into the living room for a movie night. What old movie are we going to watch? Do they watch the same movie over and over again? A million questions were racing through my head.

Once we got into the living room everyone sat in their 'respected' seats whilst I just stood awkwardly, again, in the doorway, "Eliza!" I heard someone one call, I looked around the room and saw Emma staring straight at me with bright beaming eyes, "Come, sit here!" she said patting the seat next to her, I acknowledgedher by  nodding her way and hopped over onto the comfy lounge seat next to her. I noticed that Horace seemed to get a special seat at the back of the room, but just shrugged it off. "Hey Emma, What movie are we watching?" I asked

Emma let out a soft giggle "Remember how Horace said that he had prophetic dreams? Yeah well he forgot to mention that he can also project them with a little spectacle thing, I don't really know what it is though. Anyway he we got bored of watching the same movies over and over again so we started watching his dreams. He usually just dreams about buying clothes but on some occasions he dreams about the future. That's how Miss Peregrine knew that you were out in the present day."

"Huh, wow, okay, that's co-" I was cut off by a heap of 'Shhhhhhh' and "Quiet it's starting!"

The dream started off with Jackie, the girl with the lilac hair, running through the woods followed by the silhouette of Enoch and a strange beast. It looked as if the two were running from the last. Jackie took a tumble into a hole and snapped her ankle which meant Enoch had to carry her back. The beast came into the light and it turns out it was just a shadow, I thought it was real, thanks god it was just their imagination!

They both got pulled into a bush and the dream ended. The next one came on and it started with a ferry entering the island's coast with a young adult/teen and, from the looks of it, his father. They shared a similar resemblance in their eyes, a nice crystal blue. It then changes to him exploring the future, blown up version, of our house. Looking through images and notes. It flashed to him inside a burning pub and then Miss told us it was already reset time.

Heading into the yard Emma handed me a Gas mask, uh oh, I forgot. We had reset right before the house gets bombed. Great, I can see myself having constant panic attacks, every night because I always over think every situation even if its just walking out of the house. Right now I am definitely over thinking; What if she misses? What if we are a second late and everything blows up? Ugh I hate it when I'm super anxious. Thinking about bombing, what would it have been like living in the world war? I wonder how my family would have coped, would my mum still be around, would my father and brother value my presence more? Well I'll never know because they are now probably in the middle of the pacific ocean having the time of their lives.

Anyway, we all have to be outside when reset is happening because of the slight chance of Miss Peregrine could miss the time and it bomb 'could' go off. The yard is still, al,most like times stopped, all of the squirrels are asleep and the birds singing is at rest for the night but instead the chilly night air is filled with the eerie screams of the bomb sirens going off. I look up to the night sky and see grey army jets zooming above us, I can feel the ground rattling from each bomb that is dropped in other locations. Finally Miss Peregrine speaks up and says "Gas masks on now children!" Ever so calmly.

As I put my gas mask on, a musty old smell fills my nostrils. That's right... I'm in the 1940's, I keep forgetting.

Then Miss Peregrine makes Run rabbit! Run! Play through an old record player. Each bomb dropped is done at the exact time of the beat of the song, like the song was made for this very moment. Suddenly a huge plane is approaching the home, opening up its "Bottom doors" to reveal an extremely large bomb waiting to be released to hit the house.

I look around to the other children and they are as calm as ever! I am still a little frightened but through the song and the distant bombings I can hear Emma humming the tune to the song anf that calms me down. So as the bomb gets dropped my heart starts to race. But as if just in time Miss Peregrine resets the loop.

I take this short time to take in how lovely the day was. Nice and sunny and warm, friendly weather for wales. The bees out and about and so was everyone, as the day then re-reversed into night again it lapse stopped and now there were no clouds in the sky and no bombing fighter jets. Now I can happily say, I've survived my first reset.
