Inayos ko ang pagkakatiklop nang suot kong long sleeves habang nakaupo lang ako sa buhanginan at nakatanaw sa papalubog na araw. Inalis ko ang suot na aviators sa mga mata ko noong tuluyan ng lumunog ang araw at napalitan iyon ng buwan. Tumayo na ako at pinagpagan ang suot kong shorts bago ako pumasok sa resthouse ko dito sa New Zealand. I've been staying here for four months now, I decided to stay here when I discovered something.

Papaubos na ang isang tangkay ng saging na dala ko nang may makita akong isang bulto ng lalaki na naglalakad sa dalampasigan. Pilit kong inaninag ito pero masyado itong malayo at madilim pa. Habang papalapit ito sa kinaroroonan ko ay mas naging pamilyar ang bulto nito kahit na hindi ko parin maaninag ang mukha niya. Ipinilig ko ang ulo at iniwas ang mga mata doon.

Tahimik akong pumasok sa kwarto at nahiga sa kama. I sighed. Right. I still need to drink milk for goodness sake!

Tinatamad na bumangon ako at pumunta sa kusina. I was in the middle of drinking my milk when the doorbell rang. Kaagad naman na kumunot ang noo ko dahil gabi na. My thoughts shifted to my friendly neighbors, maybe it's one of them. Minsan kasi ay dumadalaw rin sila dito kapag gabi na at binibigyan ako ng libreng dinner.

Nakangiti kong binuksan ang pintuan pero kaagad rin itong napawi noong makita ko kung sino ito.

His face looks dead serious. I can't read his eyes; para itong robot dahil sa blanko lang ito.

"Surprise?" He coldy asked.

Hindi parin ako nakakabawi sa sorpresang nasa harapan ko. Nanlalaki ang mga mata kong nakatingin sakanya.

"What are you doing here..." He grinned. "Hunt..."

He gave me a smug smile. "I'm here to fetch you," He stopped in mid sentence. "Stop hiding Camille, it's time for you to show up. Pareho lang kayong masasaktan kapag ipinagpatuloy niyo pa 'to. Tama na ang pataasan ng pride. It will only lead you to painful things that you might regret in the end."

"P-pero... Paano mo..."

He reached for my hand then squeezed it. Ngayon ay nakangiti na siya ng malawak sa akin.

"Remember that I am your best friend before him. I know your secret. You're married to him. You are married to Blaze. " he sighed. "Go home, Venille. Go back to your happiness. Kung makikita mo lang ang sitwasyon ngayon ng asawa mo baka ikaw mismo ang bubugbog sa kaniya. He's been a mess since you left."

Napatulala lang ako. Paano niya nalaman ang mga ito?

"How..."

Bumuntong-hininga naman ako at unti-unting lumapit sakanya para yakapin siya.

"Thank you, Hunt. But I still need more time..." Bumitaw ako sa kaniya. "See this?" I touched my little baby bump.

His eyes were gleaming with amusement. "You are..."

I smiled softly. "Yes, I'm pregnant. Don't tell anyone or I swear, I will tell that to everyone. Including her." Ininguso ko ang itim na hikaw na nasa tenga niya na ibinigay sa kaniya ni Sandra noong bata pa sila.

Hunter had a crush to Sandra when we were still little. Hindi pa kami noon close ni Sandra because I thought that she was a spoiled brat which was still right but she was also kind, hindi niya lamang pinapakita. They broke up but I know that Hunt is still into her. I know that he's still stalking her if that's what you call it.

Nakita kong gumalaw ang adam's apple niya. With that, I knew that he was uncomfortable.

Tinaasan ko siya nang kilay.

"I promise; I won't tell anyone, Camille."

I smirked. "I know you won't."

Tumalikod na ako at naglakad papunta sa mini sala ko, pero bago pa ako makarating doon tumigil muna ako at nilingon siya. "Are you coming or not?"

Ngumisi siya. "Nah, I'm going home after you close all your lights and until I made sure that your home is secured. I won't leave this place until you're safe and sound."

I shrugged. "Mamatay ka sana sa lamig."

Tumaas ang sulok ng labi niya. "I won't." He replied before closing the door.

Bumungtong-hininga naman akong muli bago ko ginawa lahat ng ritual ko at natulog na. Hindi ko na namalayan ang mga sumunod na araw, the sunlight woke me up from my deep slumber. Walang ingay na pumunta ako sa kusina para magluto.

One week after Hunter visited here, I recieved a letter from an anonymous sender.

'Still not learning, huh? You should go far away from him if you don't want something bad to happen to your dearest friends. I'm warning you, bitch!'

Ito ang nakasulat sa letter.

Until now, it's still bothering me. I always thought that this was one of Blaze's girls that is obsessed with him kaya hindi ko na ito seneryoso pa but there's still something that bothers me. Paano niya nalaman kung nasaan ako?

I plan on going home tomorrow. Handa na akong maka-usap siya in a calm and rational way after weeks of talking to myself if what my decisions should be. I decided that I should give him the chance that he deserves, and hopefully, it won't end badly like the last time.
