Hi! So I hope you enjoyed the last chapter :) I'm ready to shoot another chapter at you guys. I'm currently sitting at the park typing away on my cellular device. Please ignore the mistakes. Enjoy!
It had been decided I was going to get married to Fredrick in six days. We were supposed to leave tonight; all of my wardrobe had been packed and I was regretting ever being born. Fredrick obviously only cared about my family's money; he didn't love me and I would never love him. Before the night had arrived the common folk had gathered at the gates of the palace. They were either here to wish me well in my marriage or plan an assasination. Due to the second possibility the guards watched me every step of the way. I had no way to escape now, I was walking down the palace halls towards the carriage that held Fredrick and all of my cargo. Once I reached the palace's main doors I looked back; my ladies maids weren't there and niether were my parents. I felt lost and hopeless, I slouched my back and walked to the carriage. I sat myseld next to Fredrick and I lookes forward. I could only hope that he hated me just as much as I hated him. My silver silk dress was to heavy for me to run away in; but it could be done.
"I believe you'll find me to be worthy." Fredrick was looking at me and smiled. He took my hand and kissed it, he then put it down and looked out the window again.
"One can only hope." I hissed under my breath. I pulled my hand closer to my waist and rubbed the wretched kiss away. I starred out the window, the a couple of guards placed themselves on either side of the carriage. I felt the wheels launch forward; the horses began to move and the gates were opened. The people stepped out of our way, and we began to enter the town center. I looked towards the large water fountain in which I had been left by Phillip twice... my heart dropped. My eyes scanned the crowd and then I saw him. Phillip was standing on top of the large fountain and he watched as the carriage rode away. His eyes were dull and his gaze was worried. I turned to face the inside of the carriage again. Then when Fredrick attempted to hold my hand I pulled away and looked out the window. That was when I saw Charlie standing next to a group of large men dressed in black. Charlie headed into the crowd, and within a few minutes he had completely disappeared.

We had been riding through a deep forest for a while. My skin began to feel icy and cold, the empty wooden windows didn't prove very useful in the winter. Without glass to shelter me from the cold the trip felt longer. My body began to shake, Fredrick had already fallen asleep and the wool blankets that had been packed were all in his use. He hadn't left me a single blanket, but luckily I had packed thick wool cloaks.
"Stop the carriage." I hit the top of the window to get the knights attention and he nodded. He signaled at the other knight but then he turned back to look at me.
"We can't stop. The terrain isn't useful if we were to undergo an attack." I sighed and then turned to my left. I saw Fredrick with all of the wool blankets and I pulled on the corner of a brown blanket. I tugged and pulled for a while and then the blanket gave in and came out from underneath his arm, my head bumped itself on the window and I felt tge carriage shake. I turned around and then I felt my entire body go forward the carriage was falling into some sort of pit. I heard the knights quickly jump out of the carriage, Fredrick began to wake up slowly. When Fredrick woke up he noticed that we were dipped and he began to panic. He began to kick and he attempted to open the doors, he was acting strange.
"They said that this wouldn't happen!" He began to kick and scream and shake his arms around his armor rattled loudly. "They lied!" he began to cry loudly and I sat there confused, I will admit that I thought that he was crazy, but I was struck with fear when I saw a large man dressed in black appear in the trees behind him. Fredrick reached out for my hand.
"It's an ambush. Your going to be killed. They... I told them that we were coming." He looked down and then he turned to look outside the window. An arrow was shot through the trees and it hit Fredrick right in the middle of his forehead. I screeched in panic and then scrambled towards the door. "Run..." That was the last thing that Fredrick said to me and probably the last thing I can clearly remember. I jiggled the lock on the door and it didn't move. I turned to look out the window and I saw the large man approching; I tried to jump out through the window. I got stuck somewhere along the way and began to squirm and then I felt large cold hands land on my waist. I began to kick and scream, my eyes were filled with tears. Then I finally managed to open the latch on the outside. The door shot me forward and the hands fell off of me. I scooted off of the window and ran through into the trees, I turned back to look at the carriage that had now been lit on fire. The knights were all lying dead near the whining horses. The large man walked around the carriage looking into the woods and then I saw about 10 other men appear from behind the trees. I stepped back, I looked around and ran deeper into the woods. I heard a loud cry and then a nay; the horses had been released. I heard a loud rustling in the trees and then a large white horse appeared; I quickly stopped it and petted its nose. Then I grabbed a hold of it and rode it deeper into the woods, I had no saddle but I continued to go through the woods. I didn't stop until I reached the palace; the woods that we had gone around; were just a border that curved all of the kingdoms into a circle. When I reached the south tower I turned around and realized that this was not the safest place ti stop. If the men were to follow me they would find an entrance into the palace; that wasn't safe. I got back up on the horse and rode back into the forest and headed towards Phillip's house. I rode into the small circle of houses in a matter of minutes. I quickly got off of thw horse and placed it into a stable that was on the right. I knocked on the door of the house that had logs of wood in front of it. A short pale woman opened the door and she smiled at me. She pointed towards the living room and she smiled at me. Phillip was sitting at the dinner table that was being lit by a small flame.
"Marie?!" Phillip stood up and smiled towards me he walked towards the door and invited me in. I stepped inside and he closed the door. "What brings you here?" he looked puzzled and then his smile faded "I thought you were getting married to that one guy." he scoffed and looked to the right.
"I was supposed to... until."
"Until what?"
"Until he got killed and some people tried to kill me. Phillip's mother jumped back and grabbed the chair for support. She let out a loud gasp and turned pale. I sighed and looked down.
"We aren't safe. My parents aren't safe. No one in Trention is safe."
Yeah. So that is it for today! I really went fast I don't know I'll try to develop the plot a little bit better next time. Until next time :)
