(Being Watched) Pray You Catch Me

Cynthia POV

I didn't really know what to do so I just stood there shocked at my response "me moaning" but disappointed at the lack of self-control I had when it came to her and she knew it,she knew she still had my heart and I hated that.

"Damn Cyn pull yourself together"

I snapped outta my feeling's quick because I knew if I stayed here in this club with Erica something was bount to happen and I didn't want that, I didn't want my judgment clouded and most of all I didn't want to cheat. That wasn't me, I wasn't a cheater and I wasn't gonna start now and give Erica the satisfaction that she could still have me.... more so than ever. So I walk back over to my section and told the girls I was ready to go.

"of course they questioned me about my little encounter but I brushed them off with some lame excuse about us catching up which seems to have worked "

We got our things together and I said my goodbyes to the crowed and gave a final glance towards Erica section, Her eyes meet mine's (for the third time tonight...not that I'm counting) and she gave me a wink and that wicked yet sexy smerk I loved so much appeared on her face.

"You see there I go again....Yep it was definitely time to leave"

I arrived home an hour later took a shower, ate some food and went straight to bed.

"I needed to get Erica outta my head and sleep always makes me forget so sleep it is"

I was in a nice slumber a mere ten minutes later, but it didn't last long because my phone started to ring. "I let out a frustrated growl but decided to check it anyway" I checked my phone and saw it was a private number I didn't answer straight away because I normally don't pick up private calls but whoever it was kept on ringing so I decided to answer.

- "Hello!!"

- ??? "Why'd you take so long to answer"

-"What"?

- ??? "Don't play dumb.....you heard me"

-  "Kmt..... How'd you get my number"

-??? " You didn't answer my question Santana"

- "Was there something in particular that you needed? (getting annoyed by the person on the other end) because you just woke me up.

-??? "Yeah! you"!!

- "Stop playing games before I hang up"

-??? *Laughing* "you and I both know you not gonna do that"

- "Oh yeah! Watch me..... .

"And with that I hung up, Turned off my phone and went to sleep".

Friday(2days later)
Erica's pov

After my little run in with Cyn at the club I've been pretty low-key. I only had a few more days left here in New York so I've just been busy working and packaging. Chyna and Abdul are officially dating now and have become totally inseparable, but I find it cute she deserves to be happy.

King and I spoke earlier today and he's been filling me in on all that's happened since I've been away; I learnt(the important things from our conversation) that he has a new math teacher named Ms Jackson because the old one left, he also told me about the new girl in his class but he seems a little shy about the subject "which I found cute cuz I knew he liked her" and lastly he told me he spoke to Cyn yesterday which shocked me but I didn't want to ask questions so I let it go.

The next few hours went by really fast and by the time I finished work It was already 8:00pm so I decided to go to Nobu for some food because I really wasn't trynna go home and cook. I collected my order then made my way home.

Cyn POV

It had been one of those Mrs. Dalloway days; where I feel like I've come right out of a Virginia Woolf novel. Everything around me seems devoid of color and with that you see the predictability of things, and after seeing Erica at the club I really was on edge for some reason. And my friends wasn't making it better with all their questions about her and I; Which wasn't really helping because I really didn't have a clue myself(not that there was a "her and I"). After what seems like hours of questioning I managed to shake off all the inquiries not giving any real indication of my real emotions which seems to have worked for now. I decided to get out the house for a few hours In-order to clear my head. As I'm wandering around the city taking in what I see and forgetting it immediately It dawns on me of how beautiful the city is,I've lived here my whole life and never really notice before.

I love that it never sleeps, the traffic that never dies but most of all the vibe and the food (can't forget the food).I guess I lost track of time because It's dark already, so on my way back to my house I went to get something to eat Because my stomach was rumbling (and when that happens I have answer its calls) so I stopped at Los Tacos and ordered to go. I had made it half way home with food in-hand when I got a strange feeling and then the back of my neck tingled,(which never really happens unless I'm being sexual) and it was at this moment I knew right away that I was being watched.

Third person POV

She felt the burning gaze of whoever watched her, and it left a peculiar impression deep in the pit of her stomach.
Every bone in her body pressed for her to run inside her home and shut the door, and yet at the same time she wondered who was studying her so closely. If it was someone intending on hurting her, there were enough lights in the gated community where she lived that it wouldn't go unnoticed.

And with that reasoning, her curious side won. She couldn't help the stiffening of her spine as she inserted the key into her apartment lock, paused, and turned to look. The sun had set hours ago, but there were lampposts lit inside of her complex.Her gaze moved from a woman and man with their children, to a couple lingering outside an apartment door, and then to four teenagers messing around with each other Nothing strange there from what she could tell, and no one appeared to be fixated on her either. She turned to her left, surprised when her gaze collided with the prime suspect.

??? Sorry I didn't mean to follow you ....I ju-um just wan *gco*

"You don't need to apologize, Its ok. Anyway I kinda knew it was you in a weird way". (giving the person a warm smile)

???No I do! you must of been scared.... so for the second time I'm really sorry..... Umm I should get going (turning to leave)

"NO! (Surprising myself) wait don't go, you can stay if you like" (hopeful)

??? I don't think that's a good idea

"Please....please I don't want to eat on my own and your food looks like it's getting cold"

???.......

"Come on...... Plus you're here now so might as well..... Please! I'm not talking no for an answer"

??? Ugh fine!
