Amanda's POV

"Baby! How is your honeymoon?!"

I frowned at Mocha and covered her mouth with a handkerchief.

"Please naman 'wag mong isigaw." I snapped. "Nakakahiya." And I put down my hand from her mouth.

Since my husband was not at home last night for our 'honeymoon' until now, I have decided to go to my best friend's restaurant this early morning.

"Naku naman. 'Wag mong sabihing hindi pa kayo nagtusukan."

I lowered my head. This woman is very vocal. Her words are so not pleasant.

"Mocha... kaya nga ako nandito dahil kailangan ko ng kausap." I said habang nilalakihan ko siya ng mata.

Her expression became serious. "Ha? Bakit? May nangyari ba?"

I sighed. "Hindi kasi siya umuwi buong gabi." I sipped from my coffee.

"What do you mean? Umalis siya kagabi?"

I nodded.

"And where did he go?"

I shrugged my shoulder. "I don't know. Iniwan niya lang ako sa bahay mag-isa."

"Oh eh buti hindi ka namatay sa takot?" She narrowed her eyes.

"You don't get my point."

I know I am really scared with ghosts but it is not what I want her to get.

She tapped the table and leaned on the chair. "I get it. Sayang lang ang waxing mo at ang mga negligee na ipinabaon ko sa'yo."

"Please Mocha lessen your voice!"

"Naku ineng. Matanda kana oy! Hindi porke virgin ka wala kang alam sa sex."

Some customers looked at us and I swear... gusto ko nang lumubog.

"Mocha what should I do?" I seriously asked her, more like begging for a friend's nice advice.

"You know Amanda..." She said. "I really don't get it why you accepted his offer of marriage even though you know that you do not love each other."

"But add the thing that I really like him."

Two months ago, during dad's birthday party, Tyler asked me in front of everyone about marrying him. Being that dumb stupid girl, I said 'yes' and it is because I like him a lot.

He is just so handsome and certified smart boy that I liked, ever, since high school.

"But still, you do not love him too."

"I will love him soon." I snapped.

"And he won't love you so soon. Baka nga hindi na kahit kailan." She snapped back with her mocking tone.

"Are you really my friend?"

"Oo naman syempre. Kaya nga binatukan kita nang sumagot ka ng 'oo' sa kanya."

I rolled my eyes at her.

A part of me says that I should not have married him. A week before our wedding I just knew that he proposed to me because that is what our parents both wanted.

"You know what? Hindi ka lang tumuloy ng fourth year college naging bobo kana." She again said and scooped from her cake.

"Ewan ko sa'yo."

Hindi dahil hindi ko na tinapos ang schooling ko dahil ikinasal ako does not mean I am illiterate.

She cleared her throat as a sign that she is serious now. Finally.
