"Me too" you lied looking over at Betty
"Hey don't let her get to you like that" Cheryl says comfortingly, this is the side to Cheryl that you like, the reason you became friends
"Thanks" you reply gratefully
"Boytoy at six o'clock" Cheryl warns but before I could leave he is already talking to me
"(Y/n)? I know you hate me and you don't want an explanation but please come to Pop's tonight" he pleads, you sigh and Cheryl shakes her head telling him to beat it.

Against Cheryl's wishes you went to Pop's to hear him out if he still thinks he has to explain himself.
"What do you want?" you demand trying to keep a tough exterior
"You came?" he asks surprised
"Yes I did now what do you want?" you ask
"right yes of course...um...I made a mistake and I will do whatever it takes to get you back" he pleads
"Leave the paper" you tell him immediately, he stutters for a minute before replying
"Fine if that is what you wa-"
"No, don't leave, I just wanted to see if you would, please don't leave you love writing for the paper" you sigh out. You can see the hope starting to form in his eyes
"But it won't be easy" you quickly interject before he can say anything
"I'll do anything just to get our friendship back we'll start there" he bargains
"You can start by buying me a milkshake" you reply cheekily
"One milkshake coming up"
