  'Tom hi' surprise is clear in your voice you instantly feel Jared's comforting hand on the small of your back knowing that this is tough for you, he was there for you after the break up after all.
'Oh ah (y/n) hi' surprise, nervousness and either guilt or regret, you couldn't decide, was clear for you to see in his eyes.
'Oh my god, you're (y/n) (y/l/n), I love your music' you have to pry your eyes away from tom and look to her

'We should start to go back to our seats' Jared says putting a hand on the small of your back to gently guide you, tom sees this and clenches his jaw still not completely over you like he thought he was.
'Right yeah we should to, right tom?' Taylor notices tom's mood change trying to distract him from what ever made him upset all of a sudden, but he doesn't answer just stares at Jared's hand that was on your back

'Oh' they both fall quiet and walk back to their seats which his good friend benedict is at with his wife , benedict notices the way tom is and quietly ask him what happened, tom just utters your name and benedict knows that, that his best friend still isn't over the girl that everyone thought was perfect for him.

'No' you mumble and Jared pulls you into his side. Just as tom turns around to look where you went only to see that. But the nights not over yet, chances to bump into each other again and chances for old lovers to rekindle their love.
