Tonight you and Shannon were having a movie night and right now he was out getting dinner for the both of you. You hear a knock at the door and assume that Shannon forgot his keys. Again.

'Forget your keys again'' you call out but stop short once you see who's at your door

'Oh Jared' you say shocked as you haven't seen or talked to Jared since he left for new York randomly, or at least what you thought to be random anyway,

'Yeah hi (y/n)' he says nervously

'Um. Shannon's out getting food he should-'he cuts you off abruptly.

'I'm not here for Shannon. But I'm glad he's not here this will be much easier now' he mumbles the last part but you catch it anyway and become immediately confused.

'Um. Okay then.um. would you like to come in?' you ask him not totally sure what to o as this is the first time that you have been alone with Jared since the break up and you don't know how to feel or act.

'Um. No I'm good out here. I'll be quick, promise' he says still nervous, you become worried this wasn't like Jared.

'Okay, so what's up?' still confused about this whole ordeal.

'I tried, I really did but it didn't work and I never wanted to do this to Shan but I've just got to tell you that I love you, breaking up with you was the biggest mistake I've ever made and I'm sorry if I ever hurt you I never wanted that to happen but it's true.' He blurts out to you in a rush and it leaves you speechless.

Shannon ending

'Jared' you say breathlessly but before you could say anymore Shannon arrives with the food

'Oh hey j what's up?' he asks his little brother

'Um nothing much just asking (y/n) here a question' he replies back to Shannon and looks to you expectantly

'No. Jared the answers no. sorry' you whisper the last part. No matter how many firsts Jared was to you, you have fallen in love with Shannon and you couldn't go back and have the chance of getting your heart broken again by Jared.

Jared ending

'Why?' you question, sighing when he gives you the puppy dog eyes knowing that they were your weakness

'Because I was scared, you were the first women in my life besides my own mother who understood and was always there for me' you open your mouth to tell him that you can't trust that but he cuts you off

'I'm not scared anymore, I promise I was scared of something that I should have run to not run away from' he says begging you with his eyes. You become conflicted.

'What about Shannon, your brother I don't want to be the reason why two brothers break their special bond' you tell him worried about ruing everything for the brothers.

'Don't worry about it' you hear another familiar voice to the side of both you and Jared.

'Shannon, your back' you say nervously, he sighs.

'Look honestly don't worry I get it. I over-stepped when I asked you out in the first place but don't worry if you want to get back with my brother I won't hold it against the both of you but Jared I brought extra food if you want to join us.'

'Yeah you should join, we are watching Alexander' you tell Jared with a cheeky grin. Both boys laugh at your choice and you have a great night with the Leto brothers.
