[A Date]
Jungkook
I walked out of the classroom while holding Jimin's hand. His warm and small hands brought a sense of security throughout me. I smiled just thinking about his hands.
Did I mention that his hands are small? So cute, so small.
"Ah, Jungkookie, do you need to stop at your locker?" Jimin asked, swinging our hands between us.
"No, do you?" I looked down at him and smiled as I spoke. He shook his head, returning the smile.
"We can head on over right away then!" He said, squeezing my hand.
"Let's stop at the dorm first so we can drop off our bags," I chuckled.
"Alright, let's go!" Jimin began to run down the halls, pulling me with him. I smiled as I ran with him.
The walk back was short, the dorms being close to the school thankfully.
"Do you have your key?" Jimin asks.
I raise an eyebrow, "Do you not have yours?"
"I do but I'm lazy."
"Oh my god, hyung." I pull out my key, shoving it in but it doesn't work. "Breaks after one day... Figures." I turn to him, holding out my free hand so he can give me his key. He pouts, reaching into his backpack and handing it to me.
I opened the door to our dorm only to see all of our friends yelling as they shoved their way around the house.
"Um, what are you guys doing here? And how did you get in?" I questioned, alarmed by the sudden loudness. Tae shoves his head into the breezeway as we take off our bags.
"Oh, I stole your key while we were drunk and made a copy," Tae proudly smiled.
"Wait, when did you give it back then?" I ask.
"I didn't, you have mine," He takes my lanyard from my hand, removing the house key and switching it out for what I can only hope is mine.
"Jesus... You still haven't answered my other question either," I sigh, heading into the living room. I notice now that the loudness is because Jin is blasting Sicko Mode. Everyone is screaming along with the lyrics and I cover my ears.
"Oh, we just wanted to hang out, so I let them all in!" Tae gestured to the others and they gave a small wave, going back to dancing insanely right after. I noticed Hana with them, too.
"Oh, well we were gonna go somewhere," Jimin finally spoke up, rubbing the nape of his neck.
"Ooh! Where? We can all go!" Tae exclaims, his loud voice just barely making it over the music.
"Oh, well it was just gonna be Jungkookie and me..." Jimin awkwardly said. Taehyung raised an eyebrow, tilting his head.
"We were going to go on a date actually," I mumbled, fumbling with the ends of my sweatshirt.
"Not fair," Taehyung whined, dramatically throwing himself onto the door frame.
"I know, we can hang out when we get back," I suggested, laughing at his childish pout.
"Fine, don't be too long," Tae lightened up as he walked into the other room. We shouted goodbye to the boys and Hana and they seemed unbothered.
"Aigo, no manners," Jimin joked, shaking his head like a mother. I laughed at him, intertwining our hands again as we head out.
"How long will it take us to walk there?"
"Probably five minutes tops," He shrugs.
"Aww, I like walking," I say, shaking our interlocked hands together dramatically.
"Muscle pig..." He teases. I roll my eyes and he laughs. "Well, we can walk around after we get something from the cafe. There's a park nearby." I nod at him, admiring his face as we walk side by side.
"What are you gonna get?" Jimin asks me, pulling open the door to the retro-style cafe.
"Probably a caramel macchiato. What about you?" I hold his hand a little tighter when I noticed how crowded it was, but his familiar Korean makes me feel a little less overwhelmed.
"Maybe an americano. It seems pretty good."
The short line passed quickly and we ordered. After some debate Jimin finally allowed me to pay. Well, I pushed him over and handed my card to the person. He's too small fight back.
"Aish, you should've let me pay!" Jimin whined as we took our seats, waiting for our drinks.
"It's okay, I have a job so it is easier for me to pay," I smiled at him, poking his cheeks as he pouts.
"You have a job? What is it?" Jimin questioned me while tilting his head.
Shit. Didn't think he'd actually ask me what I do...
How exactly do I tell him that I'm an author? It's not like it's a big deal.
You're not a stripper, so why worry?
I always wrote under a pseudonym so I didn't really want to reveal who I was in the writing industry. I also never did any interviews, I don't want to reveal who I am.
"Oh, well I write books," I sip on my drink, hoping he doesn't ask anymore.
"Really? What type? Have I read any?" He said exactly what I didn't want him to say. I know he read some of my books because they were sitting on the bookshelf in his room.
"Oh, yeah, I write under a pseudonym, however," I rub the back of my neck, leaning back in my chair while looking away from him.
No more questions, please?
"Oh, can you tell me?"
Well here we go I guess.
"Sure-Sure... Do you know the Skyline series?" I looked away from him, fiddling with my fingers.
"You mean, you are the author of my favorite series? You're Justin Seagull?" He whispered screamed. I chuckled a bit and nodded a small yes. "How do I know you're not lying?"
I chuckle at his teasing, pulling open my phone to my google drive. I open up the draft for the next book. I show him it, laughing as his eyes widen. He tries to read it but I close it quickly.
"Told you. The others are in there, too," I put my phone away. "I can pull up the twitter, too."
"I always knew that name sounded so fake... I'm really proud of you," He smiled, grabbing my hand from across the table.
"Thank you, I think you're the only person I've ever told. Anyway, do you wanna head over to the park now?" He nodded in response and we left the cafe with our drinks.
We walked to the park as he cutely gushed about how much he loved my books. I could feel the heat on my face and I was sure I was as red a tomato.
I saw the park and ran to the swings like a child. I instantly sat on one and began swinging. I saw Jimin sit down next to me and we swung in sync. I pulled out my phone and took a few pictures and videos of us.
I don't want this date to end.
