[The Plan]

My eyes are wide are I look at him. I'm not sure if I'm still crying at this point.
"I-I don't know," I look away, my hand still in his as I focus on the sensation. I find myself reminding myself that he's here. Safe.
"Jungkook," Taehyung's voice suddenly reminds me he's here. His hand is on Jungkook's lower leg, squeezing lightly. "I'm so sorry." Jungkook smiles at him, moving his arms so he can push himself up. I shake my head at him placing a hand on his shoulder, and he stays down.
"Hyung, you don't need to apologize," He says simply. Taehyung looks away from him.
Dammit, Tae. Why do you never listen to me?
"I should've-"
"No," Jungkook cuts him off sternly. Taehyung's eyes water as he looks at him, his lip in death grip from his teeth. "If-If you had said something then, with no proof, it would've been the same as last time."
I look at him, but he doesn't meet my eyes. His jaw is tight as he looks straight forward avoiding all of our gazes.
"Jungkook... What do you mean by last time?" Jin pipes up beside me. It's almost weird hearing how stern he is, especially speaking in English none the less.
"Have you- Did you tell someone before?" Hana's voice is shaky as she looks at him. Her hand is resting gently on his broken one, careful not to hurt him.
Jungkook nods his head for an answer, and we all wait in silence, hoping he'll elaborate. It takes him a minute to notice that we're waiting and he takes a shaky breath in.
"I- um," He glances over at me and I nod, a soft smile on my face. "When it first started, I told one of my teachers. He sent me to the councilors office."
He paused for a minute when a knock on the door came, a nurse peeped her head in through a small crack in the door, "Mr. Jeon the police would like to speak with you in a few minutes."
"Oh. Okay, thank you," Jungkook mutters. We look at him expectantly, hoping he'll finish the story. As soon as the nurse closes the door, Jungkook breathes in and readies himself to resume. "So, I told the councilor everything. About how when I came out they made me cut off Tae, and how they got more violent after Hana."
I place a hand on Jungkook's thigh, gently rubbing circles with my thumb. He glances at me with a weak smile, letting go of our hands to wipe his wet eyes.
"The counselor didn't seem like he really believed me but he told me he'd send my teacher to my home this weekend to check it out," Jungkook chuckles bitterly. "Not that day, but three days later. He would send someone three days later and I was supposed to just sit at home and suffer. No police, nothing."
"What the fuck?" Tae scoffs, showing clearly the anger of everyone in the room.
"I'm almost certain that he sent an email to my parents because they had never been nicer to me than they had the rest of the week. Even cleaned the house so when the teacher visited it was perfect," He bites his lip and let's go of both Hana's and my hand to cover his eyes. "After he came over, he sat me down in class and talked to me about how making those accusations can ruin people's lives."
"Wait- So not only did they not believe you but you got in trouble?" I ask, my voice quiet. He nods softly and the door to the room opens.
A smiling police officer enters, waving to us, "If it's okay with you Jungkook, could I speak to you alone?"
