Autumn sat in the orphanage in silence. The new caretaker, Miss Clementine, was horrid. Even worse than Madame Dreace. Her stare alone would send shivers up Autumn's spine. She wore bright red lipstick and dark eyeshadow around her eyes.

Madame Dreace was fired for what happened to Cayden, even though she didn't cause her death.

Cayden was still a touchy subject for Autumn, along with everyone else.

Cameron was placed in jail until for years, due to her sentence. The police thought it was her that was responsible for what happened to Cayden, most evidence showed it.

Autumn had no idea how to deal with it. She knew how it felt to break a foot, but this hurt so much worse.

It had been two weeks since Cayden's death and it had been the only thing on her mind. 

How Cayden's screams woke everyone, and they were greeted with her lifeless body. How Autumn wasn't there to help.

Miss Clementine had bright orange hair and always wore a short black skirt and a tight shirt. Every night, Miss Clementine would bring home a new man. Every day, cleaning was what they did. Food was scarce - Autumn and some of the other girls from the orphanage had to sneak out of the orphanage for food. 

Miss Clementine was very old fashioned. She told all the girls to wear dresses, but they were all raggedy and torn.

Truthfully, Autumn didn't want to leave for Hogwarts this year. She just wanted to help in the orphanage. Miss Clementine agreed. 

When the girls brought up the fact that Autumn goes to a boarding school, Miss Clementine refused for her to go. But the other girls, encouraged her to go anyway.

So Autumn thought about it, but later refused. There was no way she would leave the younger girls in the orphanage without her. It wasn't that she didn't trust the other girls to take care of them, it was just that Autumn wanted to be there. 

After weeks of being in the orphanage, no one really spoke. Except for one time. And it was from Cassandra. All she said was, "This is all your fault."
