Autumn shot up, once realizing that she wasn't at the lake anymore. She took in air as fast as she could, then looked around her. She was in the hospital wing, and the unmistakable red hair of Ron Weasley was across the room with Madam Pomfrey. Autumn turned to her left to see Harry resting in the bed next to her.

Autumn quickly stood up and saw Hermione walk over to Harry as well. "What's happened?" Autumn asked Hermione.

"They got Sirius. The dementors are going to perform the kiss."

"What?" Autumn asked, eyes widening. "We have to tell Harry." She said, walking over to his bed. She shook him shoulder's while Hermione said his name.

"Harry. . . Harry. . . Harry."

Harry finally opened his eyes and immediately spoke. "I saw my dad."

"What?" Hermione asked. Autumn just noticed the wrap on Hermione's right hand. Autumn then noticed the wrap on her left hand and shoulder.

"He sent the dementors away." Harry still said, breathless. "I saw him across the lake."

"Listen, Harry. They've got Sirius. Any moment and the dementors are going to perform the kiss." Autumn said, standing up straighter.

"You mean their going to kill him?!" Harry jumped out of bed and threw his glasses on.

"No, it's worse, much worse. They're going to suck out his soul."

Suddenly, the doors opened and Dumbledore walked through them.

Autumn ran towards him. "Headmaster, you've got to stop them!"

"They've got the wrong man!" Hermione exclaimed.

"Sirius is innocent! It's true, sir," Harry added.

"It's scabbers who did it," Ron explained.

"Scabbers?" Dumbledore asked, confused.

"He's my rat, sir. He's not really a rat," Ron said, looking at the floor while his foot was placed in a cast and resting on a few pillows. "Well he was a rat, he was my brother Percy's rat. Then they gave him around—"

"The point is we know the truth." Hermione interrupted. "Please, Headmaster. Please believe us."

"I do."

Autumn let out a breath of relief.

"But I'm sorry to say the word of four thirteen-year-old wizards will convince them." Dumbledore walked over to Ron.

Autumn threw her hands in the air. "I wish we could just go back and—" Autumn's eyes widened. "Hermione, you could use the—"

"Three turns should do it, Miss Granger." Dumbledore said, patting Ron's foot, not knowing that it was hurting Ron.

"Three turns of what?" Harry asked.

Dumbledore ignored him. "Sirius Black is in the topmost cellar of the Dark Tower. You know the rules, Miss. Granger. You must return before this last chime. If not, the consequences are too ghastly to discuss. Now, Miss. Grey, how did you find out?"

"I live with fifteen other girls." Autumn said plainly. "Most times, girls don't speak their mind, as do other people. But few at my orphanage do. I've made it my job to make sure everyone is alright. And, of course, I saw the gold chain around and remembered seeing it in a book in the library." Autumn smiled.

"Clever girl. And if you all are really clever," Dumbledore continued, "more than one innocent life may be spared." Dumbledore began to leave, then stopped right before the doors shut on him. "Oh, by the way, I find retracing my steps to be a wise place to start. Good luck."
