"Y/N!" You turn just in time to not get knock over by Nico who runs up and hugs you grinning.
"Uh, hi, Nico, what's up?"
Nico looks at you before blushing slightly frowning "Don't you know what day is tomorrow?"
You blink as you try to think as hard as you can but fail as the only thing that came to mind was Maki's birthday, but that was at least still two months away.
Nico sighs as she gets off you "It's valentine's day! You doofus!"
"Ohhhh...." you say as you realize you haven't prepared anything, you look around to see Maki standing behind a wall with her back against you humming.
You then look back at Nico "Well," you say, scratching your head "I gotta go...I'll see you later?"
Nico nods happily before doing her signature 'Nico Nico Nii'. You watch amused as you think of just how cute she is whenever she does that, although, she can be quite a handful somtimes.
You walk down the hall as Maki comes up to you.
"Hey, Y/N..." she greets, the sight of her smiling just makes your heart flutter, geez, why does God do this to you? "do you know... what date is tomorrow?"
"Yup! Nico told me!" You answer cheerfully before noticing the slight drop in her smile."Is something wrong?" You ask worredly.
"No, no, nothing's wrong."
"Alright then..." you say unconvinced " but if you have any problem you know you can always come to me..."
"Thanks..." Maki says, regaining her smile.
*Time skip*
You are at the mall thinking your head off for the perfect valentine's gift. At the moment, you just want to bang your head on the wall and end your life right there, sadly, you can't, cause you still have to find the gift. Then, you hear two familiar voices call out to you. You turn to see Maki and Nico. Then you watch as they turn to look at each other confused.
"Why are you here!?"Nico asks
"Why I am here is none of your business."Maki says " Why are you here anyway?"
"It's none of your business either. "
You watch as the two start to glare at each other. You try to calm the two down by offering them a drink and some ice cream. They nod as you start walking, noticing the full conversation that they're currently having between their eyes. You could tell that there is going to be a long day ahead.
