*Kotori's POV*
(Y/N)...
I blush. I can't stop thinking about her. This is really bad...
*Flashback*
"Ouch!" I yelp at the pain. Two guys from some school were hitting me. My eyes fill with tears as I curl up, waiting for it to be over. I close my eyes and wait for another punch to come, but never did.
"Oi!" I open my eyes to see a girl's silhouette in front of me. "Heh, I finally found you guys. Now, you listen to me and dont drag her into this, or you won't just have some broken bones today..."
"Y-you should run!" I say, in hopes of the girl not getting hurt too.
"Are you kidding?" She says turning to look at me.
"Y-you are (Y-Y/N)?!" I take a slight step back, not sure whether to be more afraid of the two guys, or her. After all, (Y/N) was rumored that she could take out ten guys without a single scratch.
"Tsk, tsk...just let me do it here, k? Oh, and hold this for me." She says tossing me her cap.
I catch it and watch as she skillfully takes the guys out and chase them off.
"Wait!" I shout trying to get her attention. "Your cap..." I trail off as she is already out of sight.
"I guess I'll return it at school..."
*End of flashback*
I play with the cap for a little. I never got to give it back seeing as how (Y/N) was always skipping class, or just had people surrounding her like a barrier. We did get to talk two times after that, but it always ended with her running off. The second time we talked though, she had said that I could keep the cap, and that she didn't need it. I try not to think about her too much, but it's hard. Everytime I close my eyes, she's there. I think I'm...in love with her.
*Normal POV*
You kick a can on the street humming to yourself. You had just finished up a bunch of idiots and is on your way home now. You smile as a certain girl's image float to your mind. To be honest, you really like her, she always has that cute smile on her face, and her sweet voice.
*timeskip*
"Ehh?!! You like (Y/N)?" Honoka shouts loudly causing some people to turn around and give weird looks.
"N-not so loud..." Kotori says blushing.
"You have to confess!" Honoka shouts excitedly.
"But..."
"No 'buts'" Umi says sternly. "You have to start thinking about yourself sometime, and I'm sure she likes you too."
"Think about it..." Honoka continues, grinning. "You guys can hold hands, kiss, and maybe even have children!"
"That's shameless!"
"Um, maybe not kids..." Kotori smiles awkwardly.
"Ehehe...sorry"
After another few minutes of back and fourth, Kotori makes up her mind. "Alright, I'll do it."
"That's the spirit!"
*time skip*
"Yo, (Y/N), how's it been?"one of your friends ask you. "You've been looking at the chairman's daughter lately. You like 'er or something?
If they know that you, in fact, do have a crush on Kotori, your image will definitly be ruined, so, you end up just laughing it off "Nah, why would I like her anyway?"
Then, you hear something drop. You turn your head in time to see Kotori run away. "Wait! Kotori!" You say as you stand up and chase after her, leaving your friends in confusion. Before running out though, you see a small box on the ground with the words "I love you, (Y/N)."written on it. It makes you more guilty as you run faster.
*Kotori's POV*
Those words really hurt, I knew it, she doesn't like me at all, I-
"Hey! Watch where you're going!"
"I'm sorry..." I mumble, face down.
"Wait a sec, you're the girl from the other day!"
I lift my head up and see five guys, two of them from before. I back up scared.
"Heh, we are going to use you to get our revenge! Last time, we weren't prepared, but this time, we brought weapons. We are going to make her watch her precious person get hurt!"
"If so, I'm not the one you are looking for..."
"What?"
"I'm not her "precious" person..."
"What? Are you trying to fool me?" The guy says angrily, swinging a metal bar at me.
My eyes grow wide as I watch (Y/N) jump in front of me.
"(Y/N)!"
*Normal POV*
Ugh, what the heck? This actually hurts! You rub your neck, where they hit you.
"Didn't I tell you, not to drag her into this?" You say angrily. "I thought I made myself clear! But you most certainly did not get the message, so I'll say it again. Do. Not. Drag. Kotori. Into. This. Am I clear?"
"Ha! Jokes! And what can you do against us?"
You hold up a fist and get in your fighting position. All five guys gang up on you as you struggle with each of them, trying not to get hit.
"W-why are you doing this?" Kotori asks.
"Doing what?" You say, slightly out of breath.
"Protecting me."
"It's because..." you punch a guy, pulling the second one along with him.
"I." you kick the third guy.
"Love." you punch another.
"You!" You finish, while finishing the last guy as well. You look at her, out of breath. She looks back with tears in her eyes.
"I thought you-"
"Shh..."you say comforting her "I'm sorry, I love you too. I was lying back there, I shouldn't have...can you forgive me?"
As soon as Kotori nods, you lean forward and kiss her.
*Bonus*
"I'm going out with Kotori, so if you guys don't like it, too bad." You say to your friends.
"Uh, where's this coming from?"
"Didn't you guys ask me if I liked Kotori?"
"Yea?"
"You guys didn't like it, so if you don't like it, you don't have to be friends with me."
"Are you kidding?! We ship you with her. If you said yes, we were going to try to get you to confess!"
"Oh, er..."

A/N: I hope that was ok, and the bonus just came to mind while writing, so I thought I'd add it. Btw, im going to do a Nico x reader next. It's going to be white day themed, even though it's very late, so yea.
