Rules/warnings
1. Don't suggest someone else's book for me to review, because I won't.
2. Please be kind, to me and to each other. I want to lift other writers up, not tear them down. This doesn't mean you can't give criticism, however, let's keep it constructive!
3. If you request a critique from me, expect, we'll...some critiquing! Nobody is perfect, there's probably one or two things you could work on in your book.
5. I am only guaranteeing to read the first 3-5 chapters of your story. I MAY continue, however I may not, and you can't expect me to base my review on something exciting that happens in chapter 19.
4. You will get your review within about a week, however there's no exact timeline. Sometimes I'm really motivated and get it done in two hours, other times it takes me a full 7 days.
Keep in mind that I am in NO WAY a professional writer or editor, and you should take my advice with a grain of salt. Don't like something I said? Guess what...it's your book and you absolutely don't have to take my advice!
Writing/editing has always been a hobby of mine, one that I have practiced independently since middle school. Well, I now officially have one year of professional writing classes under my belt. Yeah, I dropped out after Covid started, but like...it still counts, right?
