'Unbreak Me' is an ongoing Teen Fiction novel by --OneOfAKind-- that is almost consistently in the P.O.V of high school student, Ellen Bloom, a shy, kind, and unpopular girl with few friends.
Positives: This book was much better written than a lot of other teen fiction novels I've read and definitely stands a chance of becoming a really successful book on wattpad. The majority of the characters were well developed and fun to get to know, and there were minimal grammatical errors.
Negatives: There were some inconsistencies, such as class schedules/the father coming home early for no reason, and a few points where I felt the author was rushing to get to a certain point in the story. Could use a little more description in some places.
Grammar/Punctuation: Very few punctuation and grammatical errors, but every once in a while I would spot a sentence out of place (occasionally made me chuckle, though, 'I wiggled his eyebrows' was a good one)
Characters: I liked the main character more than I like a lot of other main characters in similar stories, although I felt she was a tad cliche. The best friend, Rose, was a nice addition to the story and I loved reading her and Ellen's playful banters, although sometimes I think she was forgotten about by the author and left out on accident. Ellen's love interest was sweet and playful, unlike a lot of other guys in wattpad stories, and I found it refreshing and believable.
The only character I really had a problem with was the basic bitch/queen bee. She was the epitome of a perfect looking, catty cliche rival and was rather one dimensional/unrealistic.
Dialogue: I really liked the dialogue in this story, it drove the plot (which I enjoy) and really helped the reader get to know the characters.
Authors voice: Not the best I've ever seen, but understandable/humorous (in a good way), and with practice it will become very strong! Keep writing!
