Chapter 11

Chastity silently made her way around the palace. It was absolutely gorgeous, but it didn't

compare to her home.

The trip to Gaca went well, but Chastity still felt uneasy. Something didn't seem right. It had been a few hours since their arrival now. They had eaten a late dinner and then got ready for bed. After the journey, everyone was exhausted. Chastity was, even though sleep had evaded her. Instead of staying hidden in her room, she decided to walk a bit. Walking always seemed to calm her nerves.

"Chastity, is that you?" She heard someone behind her ask. Turning around she saw Iona. "What are you doing walking about so late?"

"I just couldn't sleep. Walking normally helps, so I thought I'd give it a try." She explained.

"What's wrong? Why are you not able to sleep?" She asked. Chastity just shook her head.

"I just... I just have a bad feeling." She answered. "I can't seem to shake it either."

"I'm sure things will be just fine Sweetie. We have plenty of guards to make sure nothing happens. We won't let you guys get hurt." She said. Chastity sighed.

"I know you two won't. I don't understand why I feel like this, but I can't make it go away." She said. Iona smiled softly at her.

"You look exhausted Chastity. Why don't you go lay down with Helix? That helps sometimes, doesn't it?" She asked. Chastity nodded. "Good. I don't think he's asleep, though I doubt he would care anyway. I'll walk with you."

"Thank you Iona. It means a lot to me." She said, walking back towards Helix's room.

She quickly made her way there and curled up for the night. Finally, she was able to sleep.

When they woke up, Helix noticed how tired Chastity still seemed. She had come into his room late the previous night and crawled into bed exhausted. Even though they had slept in some, she couldn't seem to shake the tiredness. It was worrying him.

"Hey, what's going on?" Helix asked her during lunch. They were sitting outside in the garden as he hoped the fresh air would help her. It hadn't yet.

"I'm just really tired. It set in after dinner yesterday and it hasn't left. I can barely stay awake." She said. "I don't know what's wrong. I've tried everything to help wake me up and nothing has worked."

"Maybe you're getting sick?" He suggested. That's what he hopped was going on.

"I don't know. I feel...strange. Something's not right, but I can't figure out what it is." She said. He sighed.

"We can talk to Michael and see what he says." He told her. He didn't like that she wasn't feeling right.

"You need to talk to me about something?" He heard his brother ask from behind him. He turned around and nodded.

"Yeah, Chastity isn't feeling too well." Helix said. Michael looked over at Chastity.

"What's up little butterfly?" He asked her. Helix didn't understand it, but he liked to call Chastity butterfly. He's done it on and off for years now.
