His Mate

Prologue

 I knew what was happening. He was leaving me again. Why? He didn't have to go. He didn't have to go, he didn't right? It happened before three years ago too. He left me. He left me all alone for a year and a half until he returned. I remember every single letter and agonizing day, minute and second of us being apart. 

But why? Why are they taking him from me again? They don't have to. They don't have to take away my love. I grabbed Benjamin's arm and sighed.

"Please..." I started. "Please don't leave.." He shook his head and hugged me softly.

"I'll come back. I always do." He said and kissed my forehead." I choked on a sob and kissed him.

That was five years ago. I never received one letter or phone call from Benjamin. I really can't believe I still haven't gotten over him. I ran a hand through my hair and sighed. I called his family two years ago to see if something had happened but they gave me no information. I turned the engagement ring on my finger in circles and sighed. He wouldn't have forgotten about me, right? I mean... We were supposed to get married. I thought and I laid back on the bed, curling into a ball. I rubbed my tired eyes Oh god... I wiped my tears as the phone rang. I looked at the clock. Twelve thirty six p.m. I frowned and grabbed the phone from where is stood on the night stand beside my bed, answering it.

"Hello..?" I said. I heard breathing on the other side before someone cleared their throat.

"Noah? Is that really you?" I almost died right there. My breath hitched and I felt tears sting my eyes.

"B-Benjamin..?" I said, barely a whisper. "Oh..god.. Benjamin, I've missed you so much.."

"Noah..." He said. "Did you change your number?" I froze at the sternness in his voice. "Never-mind that, open the door."

"Where are you?" I asked. My heart was racing. The organ thumping heavily against my chest and I moved from out of my room, staring at the door.

"Can I come in? We need to talk about something important in person." He said, his voice

growing hard.

"Oh... yes... Um..."

"Unlock the door." I made my way across the small living room and unlocked the door. A few moments later, it was pushed open. Benjamin filled the doorway in all of his glory. His muscles bulged against his gray suit before his eyes locked with mine. He stepped in before closing the door slowly. Benjamin moved to me suddenly and pulled me to his chest in a fierce grip.

I sucked in my breath, holding myself back from throwing my arms around his neck and covering his face in kisses. I felt warm tears run down my cheeks and the urge I was trying to hold back failed and I was clinging to him tightly, kissing him softly.

" I've missed you so so much!" I cried as I kissed him more. He pushed me away a bit, holding my shoulder softly before sighing.

"Oh Noah.." He whispered and cupped my neck softly, his lips capturing mine in a bruising kiss. I gasped softly and closed my eyes, pushing my hand into his hair and grasping it softly. I opened my lips for his tongue and moaned low before be shoved back a little. I looked at him confused before running my hands against his strong muscled back and kissed his chin before rested my head against his chest.

"You must be tired from your trip." I whispered, clinging to him tighter and tilting my head to look up at Benjamin. His dark eyes grey eyes watched me before he nodded and leaned down to kiss my lips again.

"I just to hold you.." He whispered, his hands cupping my cheeks. I felt a smile slowly grace my lips before nodding, taking his hand in mine.

"As you wish." I whispered back before stepping closer to him, hugging him to me tightly.

A soft laugh left Benjamin's lips before he suddenly picked me up and carried me to my- no- our bedroom before dropping me on the bed playfully. A gasp left my lips before I grinned and pulled him down to me, throwing my arms around his neck and stared at him. Benjamin's eyes seemed to glow for a minute before his hands moved to my waist and then slide up to cup my cheek. I leaned into his hand and closed my eyes, a smile on my lips as he stroked them slowly.

"You're mine." He growled into my ear, making my smile more before I looked up at him. Benjamin leaned over me on his elbows, his gray eyes staring at me before flickering down my neck. God I missed him. I thought before running my fingers through his hair.

"Take me then.." I mumbled against his skin and kissed under his chin, causing him to growl low. A shiver ran through me and I grinned softly as he began to undress me slowly at first before getting frustrated with my clothing, ripping the garments. I laughed gleefully and leaned on my elbows to watch him undress. I sat up slowly and kneeled on the bed, staring at him as he dropped his blazer. I pulled him closer to me by his belt loops and nuzzled his ear, untucking his shirt from his pants. I slowly unbuttoned his shirt, pushing it off his shoulders and leaned forward, resting my lips against his skin. I started to get to work on his slacks before gasping as Benjamin pushed me back. He dropped his slacks, along with his boxers before climbing on to the bed, his hands touching my skin, igniting it. I moaned low before spreading my legs against his sides, wrapping them around my lover tightly as he prepared me.

I closed my eyes as I welcomed him, clinging to Benjamin tightly and pressed my face against his skin. I froze a bit as I felt warm droplets against my skin before I realized that we both were weeping. I closed my eyes, tears streaking both of our cheeks, as a soft kiss pressed against my lips before Benjamin buried his mouth against my neck, his teeth scraping the skin before sinking them into the flesh. I moaned loudly clinging to him as we both reached our limit.

"I've missed you so much.." I whispered tiredly against his chest after, his fingers running through the locks of my hair slowly. Benjamin looked down at me, tilting my head up slowly before kissing me lightly.

"As did I, amour."

Everything was perfect now.

A/N: I did it! After how many years? Months? Days? Weeks? Hours? I finally updated the prologue for His Mate! Phew. I wanted to show you guys how deep Benjamin's and Noah's love actually and how much they actually cared about one another. I'm pretty satisfied with this. Anywhoooo- I hope you guys enjoy!
