His Mate

Chapter Eleven

I gasped as I heard a growl in my ear, causing me to look up to see Athanasios eyes a dark blue. I yanked my hands away only to his muscular arms wrapping around my waist.

"You can't." Athanasios growled in my ear, I heard him whimper before snarling, making my flinch.

"T-Thanos! Let go." I told him, deciding to use his nickname hoping that that might help. I squeezed my eyes as he began to nuzzle my neck, nipping it. "Let go..." I told him. He shook his head angrily and I gasped as he dug his teeth into my neck. I had only been bitten once. Why? Because Benjamin enjoyed it rough. But this time.. I didn't feel the need to push him away but it hurts so bad.. I heard a snarl as Athanasios pulled away, wiping his mouth with his arm. I felt myself being pushed harshly onto the floor, making me gasp in pain.

"W-what...did you do?" I whispered. He kneeled in front of me and reached to touch my cheek, making me flinch.

"I didn't... I didn't mean to. It was never meant to happen this way." Athanasios whispered. I pressed my back against the wall, wrapping my arms around my legs.

"You bit me.." I whispered as I touch my neck and felt every indication of the mark and that made me realize something. That the bite mark didn't feel like a human's. I whimpered a bit when Athanasios moved beside me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "You bit me!" I went to get up but he pulled me back down, on to his lap.

"Noah, please. Just give me-" He cut himself off and stood up, carrying me in his arms.

"Put me down you idiot!" I snapped, pushing at his chest. "Please." I added.

I was soon placed on my feet when we were outside in his backyard.

"Give time to explain myself...please." Athanasios said, running a hand through his hair. I pushed away from him, looking down at the ground.

"Fine." I mumbled.

"Thank you so much." Athanasios said before taking off his shirt.

"S-Stop. Don't get undressed! Oh.." I mumbled, turning my back to Athanasios but he snatched my arm, turning me to face him.

"I'm a werewolf." He said. I stared at Athanasios blankly. Before laughing. I laughed. I actually laughed.

"You are a werewolf?" I asked, shaking my head as I laughed a bit more. I stopped and watched his face became serious.

"This isn't some type of joke. Every person in this house- no- this town is a werewolf." Athanasios said, crossing his arms over his wonderful sculpted chest. I sighed and took a deep breath before nodding slowly.

"Okay.." I mumbled with a bit of sarcasm. He scowled and sighed. "Show me, then." I whispered, feeling curiosity run over my body.

Athanasios looked at me shocked before nodding. And began to unbuckle his pants. I looked at the ground, rubbing my arm softly before glancing back up at him. I blushed furiously and took a step back. I watched as bones began to move under Athanasios' skin, making me feel sick and bit my bottom lip. That must hurt.. I thought as he groaned out loud. I suddenly felt sick to my stomach. I want to go home. I thought as I slowly stepped away from him. I gasped as the stinging bale made it past my lips. I wiped my mouth before digging my nails into my palm. Hearing the bones crack, skin ripping. It was disgusting.

"S-stop..." I whispered. "T-Thanos." I squeezed my eyes shut tightly. "Stop!" I heard a soft growl and a wet nose touching the top of my hand. I opened my eyes to see a huge black wolf that stood the size of a bear with Athanasios' piercing blue eyes.

I reached over, touching his head and pulled my hand back as it shook. Athanasios nuzzled my stomach with his muzzle, making me fall on my butt and wince in pain. The large wolf whimpered and licked my hand before laying his head on my lap, staring up at me. "You weren't lying" I whispered. Athanasios licked my cheek, making me laugh before stroking his ear. "You're so..." I began before a deep growl left his throat as he sniffed my neck. I shook my head and sighed. "I'm sorry I laughed.. I shouldn't have." He barked, nuzzling my arm. "Thanos.. I'm really sorry." I closed my eyes slowly to feel fingers touching my cheek.
